Visa Issuance
Bangladesh citizen who has an ordinary passport has to obtain a visa to enter the Republic of Korea.
(Official & Diplomatic passport holders are allowed to stay up to 90 days without visa)

Required Documents
All applicants are requested to submit the following documents o
General Requirement

Visa application (filled out in block letters)

One recent passport size color photograph of applicant


Passport (valid for at least six months)
Photocopy of valid passport (PG#0 to PG#5), MRP passport (PG#0 to PG#1)
Forwarding letter to visa section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Dhaka

Bank statement with bank solvency certificate o


Business Visa

Inviting companys business certificate of registration (issued from Korean tax office)
Inviting companys invitation letter & Affidavit of support

Proof of business relations with the inviting company (ex:


L/C, Invoice, Import contact etc if they are available)
Invitee companys visa requesting letter on letter head stationery
Invitee companys certificate of corporate or trade license
Invitee companys income tax certificate
Invitees employment certificate issued from the invitee company (for employee)

Invitee companys Bank statement & personal Bank statement (issued within the last 6 months) o
Tourist Visa

Visa requesting letter


Tour itinerary (tour plan in Korea)
Air ticket booking slip
Personal or companys bank statement (issued within the last 6months)
Applicants company certificate of corporate or trade license if it is available
Applicants income tax certificate if it is available
Employment certificate issued from the applicants company
Invitee letter & affidavit of support in Korea if they are available

Non- Refundable Visa Fee
Single entry visa (A stay of no more than 90 Days) 2,160TAKA/USD 30

All documents in Bangla should be translated into English before they are submitted.

It usually takes 7 working days to process visa application, but it can be extended. Applicants will be informed by visa
section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea for passport pickup.

Consular Confirmation
- Common Requirements for all documents
1. Original passport or National ID.
2. In case of a visit by substitute, notarized Power of Attorney (if the applicant is in Korea, it must be notarized in

Korea) & the substitutes NID card or passport.


3. All documents should be original in principle. If the document is a photocopy or not from the
government, notarization by lawyer is required.
4. Contact information of notary public (name of notary office, phone number and address).
5. An application form with all items completed.
6. Fee 312 Taka per each copy.
7. Official seal(s) from the related government organization (e.g. in case of academic transcript/certificate,
seals from the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs are required).
- Additional Requirement for Career Certificates
1. Evidential document to prove your career (e.g. salary record, tax record etc.).
