Pie Chart
Select Graph > Pie Chart > with data. Under Select Column(s), choose the desired variable name. In the
Other if percent less than (optional): box, enter 5. Click Compute.
Bar Chart
Select Graph > Bar Plot > with data. Under Select Column(s), choose the desired variable name. Click
Compute.
Stem & Leaf Plot
Select Graph > Stem-and Leaf. Under Select Column(s), choose the desired variable name. Click
Compute.
Histogram
Select Graph > Histogram. Under Select Column(s) choose the desired variable name. Click Compute.
Frequency Table
Select Stat > Tables > Frequency. Under Select Column(s), choose the desired variable name. Click
Compute.
Descriptive Statistics
Select Stat > Summary Stats > Columns. Under Select Column(s), choose the desired variable name(s).
Hold the CTRL key down to select multiple variable names. Click Compute.
Correlation
Select Stat > Summary Stats > Correlation. Under Select Column(s) choose the desired variable name(s).
Hold the Ctrl key down to select multiple variable names. Click Compute.
Regression
Select Stat > Regression > Simple Linear. For the X variable: choose the explanatory variable, and for
the Y variable: choose the response variable. Click Compute.
Contingency Table
Select Stat > Tables > Contingency > With Data. Select Row variable: and Column variable:. Click
Compute.

Frequency Distribution
Select Stat > Tables > Frequency. Under Select column(s): choose the variables you wish to include. To
select several variables, hold down shift and click on the first and last variable. This will select all of the
variables of interest which will appear in the box to the right. Click Compute.
Standard Normal Probabilities
Select Stat > Calculators > Normal. In the textbox for Mean: you should see 0 and for Std. Dev.: a 1. In
the dropdown box for P(X), select or , depending on the type of probability we want. Enter the zscore in the first textbox and click Compute.

and standard deviation values. In the dropdown box for P(X), select or , depending on the type of
probability we want. Enter the observation value in the first textbox and click Compute.

Select Stat > Calculators > Normal. In the textbox for Mean: and Std. Dev.:, you will type the given
mean and standard deviation values. Type the decimal value of the probability or percentage in the
second textbox and click Compute.

Select StatCrunch > Applets > Random Numbers. Type in the minimum and maximum values you will
sample from. Enter the number of values you need in the sample. Check the box to allow repeats, if
you need to sample with replacement, and click Compute.

Select Stat > Z Statistics > One Sample > With Summary. Enter the sample mean, standard deviation,
and sample size. Click Next. Click on the Confidence Interval option and for Level: enter the correct
confidence level. Click Compute.
Select Stat > Z Statistics > One Sample > With Data. Under Select column(s): select the desired variable
name. Click Next. Click on the Confidence Interval option and for Level: enter the correct confidence
level. Click Compute.

of observations. Click Next. Click on the Confidence Interval option and for Level: enter the correct

and sample size. Click Next. Click on the Hypothesis Test option and enter the value of the mean being
tested. Select the correct alternative hypothesis sign. Click Compute.

name. Click Next. Click on the Hypothesis Test option and enter the value of the mean being tested.
