Sinopec is the largest domestic producer and supplier of catalyst for oil refining and chemical purpose. Its main
products include: oil refining catalyst, polyolefin catalyst, basic organic material catalyst and other catalyst etc.
Besides meeting demands of domestic markets, products of Sinopec Catalyst are also exported to European,
American, Asian, African and other international markets.

Main purpose of ORBIT-3000 catalyst is to increase yield of gasoline and diesel oil in goal product. The following
technological measures are taken in preparation process of this catalyst: adopting composite molecular sieve to
endow this catalyst with both excellent coke selectivity and good activity stability; in production of ultra-stabilized
molecular sieve, through modifying technology and exploiting middle holes of molecular sieve, the catalyst is
suitable for cracking heavy oil macromolecules. With improved molecular sieve quality, it is effective to enforce
macromolecule-cracking ability by means of modifying carrier into active alumina.
Based on basic performances of ORBIT-3000 catalyst (high cracking activity of macromolecules, good coke
selectivity, suitable for heavy oil processing), ORBIT-3300 is a new-type RFCC catalyst successfully developed
through replacing active components. This catalyst is suitable for RFCC plants with large processing capacity but
low catalyst/oil ratio. Within flexible working range of the fractionator, debutanizer and gas compressor system, this
catalyst can be used without any revamp on the plant. Through adjustment of active components in preparation
process of ORBIT-3300, metal tolerance of the product has been improved for worse feedstock and uncertainties.
Aiming at processing high-vanadium feedstock from the Middle East and increasing total liquid yield, based on
ORBIT-3300, ORBIT-3600 catalyst is a new type RFCC catalyst successfully developed through optimizing
active components and modifying carrier. While improving performance of molecular sieve in preparation process,
carrier is also modified, components with heavy metal resistance are also added, thus heavy metal resistance
performance (especially vanadium) is effectively promoted; shape-selective zeolite component is also added to
increase LPG yield appropriately.
ORBIT-3600B catalyst is a kind of anti-vanadium olefin-reducing catalyst based on anti-vanadium catalyst
ORBIT-3600. Commercial results reveal that the catalyst has strong heavy oil cracking ability, high yield of light
oil, high octane number of gasoline, strong olefin-reducing ability etc.
In order to realize the objective of reducing olefin content in gasoline on the basis of anti-vanadium heavy oil
cracking catalyst ORBIT-3600, ORBIT-3600B has the following characters: through modification of Y-type
molecular sieve and blending with active components, on the premise of maintaining heavy oil cracking activity,
hydrogen transfer activity is strengthened to reach the goal of reducing olefin content in gasoline; acid distribution of
catalyst is also adjusted reasonably to reduce the generation of coke and dry gas.
ZC Series
On the basis of successfully developed new one exchange, one calcination preparation technology and increased
crystallinity of ultra-stable molecular sieve, ZC series catalyst has been developed through modifying active
components, adjusting hole structure of carrier and gradient distribution of active catalyst components. Due to the
above modifying technologies, ZC series catalysts are of high activity and stability, excellent coke selectivity, strong
residue oil macromolecule cracking ability, high heavy metal resistance performance, high yield of high-value
product and low unit cost of catalyst etc.
ZC-7000 catalyst is especially suitable for heavy oil cracking installations that use VRDS residue oil and residue oil

as feedstock, where it is difficult for catalyst of high bulk density to fluidize. With this catalyst, material resources
can be extended; meanwhile yield of light oil can be increased.
ZC 7300 catalyst has higher activity than ZC-7000 catalyst, and is suitable for heavy oil cracking installations
using VRDS residue oil that is hard to be cracked. For installation of low catalyst/oil ratio, ideal product distribution
can also be achieved.
ZC-7000B is developed on the basis of ZC-7000, through treating with modification technology, olefin-reducing
ability is strengthened, and olefin content in gasoline can be reduced by 5~6 units.
DVR Series
DVR-1 RFCC catalyst is a specially formulated catalyst for catalytic cracking installations that use entire vacuum
residue oil as feedstock (abbreviated as VRFCC technology). VRFCC technology can further increase blending
ratio of residue oil in catalytic cracking process, and increase economic benefit of oil refining enterprises to the full
extent.
In order to meet the demand for blending various vacuum residue oils by large scale, the following technological
measures are mainly taken in the preparation process of DVR-1 catalyst: treating ultra-stable molecular sieve with
modification technology and exploiting large and middle holes of ultra-stable molecular sieve, which enables
DVR-1 catalyst to crack heavy oil macromolecules; treating carrier with activation technology to improve acid
distribution and hole distribution of carrier, so that cracking ability of carrier to residue oil macromolecule can be
enhanced effectively. Additive technology is adopted to improve heavy metal resistance performance (especially
nickel). Through optimization of production technology and post-treatment, regeneration activity and stability of
catalyst is improved. For most domestic existing cracking installations, without the need to revamp plants, this
catalyst has very broad spreading and application prospect in oil refining with large blending ratio of various residue
oils.
To meet the demand for improving product distribution and reducing olefin content in FCC gasoline, DVR-2
catalyst is a product suitable for VRFCC process, while maintaining olefin-reducing performance. Results of
industrial application reveal that on the premise of maintaining various performances of DVR-1 catalyst, DVR-2
catalyst can reduce olefin content in FCC gasoline as well.
CC-15 Series
CC-15 catalyst adopts REUSY molecular sieve as its main active component. The carrier has certain cracking
activity, middle bulk density, high strength and certain heavy oil cracking ability. It can be used in catalytic cracking
installations which use entire VGO or oil blended with less than 15% VR as feedstock. CC-15 can also be used in
RFCC installations fed with entirely paraffin based ATB, or with small amount of poor-quality CGO or DAO. It
has been commercially applied in nearly thirty domestic catalytic cracking installations, including FCC installations
fed with blended VTB and RFCC installations with entire ATB. CC-15 (M) catalyst can also increase octane
number of gasoline.
CHZ-4
CHZ-4 catalyst adopts new generation ultra-stable SRY molecular sieve as its main active component, which is

prepared by withdrawing aluminum and replenishing silicon with hydrothermal + chemical method. SRY
molecular sieve integrates advantages of molecular sieves prepared with hydrothermal and chemical method,
possesses excellent thermal and hydrothermal stability, more secondary pore and strong heavy oil cracking ability.
It has little non-framework aluminum inside with cleaning channels, therefore non-selective cracking reaction is
avoided to the most extent, and coke selectivity is especially excellent. SRY molecular sieve is a new generation
ultra-stable molecular sieve with international advanced level developed in the middle 1990s.
In order to meet the demand of nickel and vanadium resistance, and further enhance conversion ability to heavy oil,
kaolin earth with fine particle, large specific surface area and high activity is adopted as carrier, which is blended
with active alumina to enhance cracking ability of heavy oil. CHZ-4 catalyst has been widely used in ten sets of
domestic catalytic cracking installations of heavy oil. Under high blending ratio of residue oil, product distribution is
still very good.
CHN-1
CHN-1 is of excellent anti-alkali nitrogen performance, which has been specially developed for high content of
alkali nitrogen feedstock inside Sinopec.
CHN-1 catalyst also adopts new generation ultra-stable SRY molecular sieve as main active component, which is
prepared by withdrawing aluminum and replenishing silicon with hydrothermal + chemical method. In order to
meet the demand of alkali nitrogen resistance and further enhance conversion ability to heavy oil, kaolin with fine
particle, large specific surface area and high activity is adopted as carrier, which is blended with active alumina to
enhance cracking ability to heavy oil.
CHV Series
CHV series catalyst adopts new generation ultra-stable SRY molecular sieve as main active component, which is
prepared by withdrawing aluminum and replenishing silicon with hydrothermal + chemical method. SRY
molecular sieve has high silicon/aluminum ratio, little non-framework aluminum and good hydrothermal stability.
Meanwhile, it has excellent coke selectivity, isomerization performance and strong cracking ability to heavy oil.
Core technology of anti-vanadium catalyst is the setting of vanadium trap, and amount of traps is determined by the
vanadium content in processed feedstock. In order to improve cracking ability to heavy oil and anti-contamination
ability from heavy metal, active alumina is also introduced. Other special components can also be added if there is
need to increase yield of LPG or octane value. Under normal catalyst consumption, this catalyst can be used in
catalytic cracking installations of heavy oil containing 4000~10000 ppm vanadium on E-cat. Series of antivanadium catalysts can be produced, and special catalyst can be tailored according to the practical situation of
customers installation.
DOCP, DOCR
This series of heavy oil cracking catalyst is mainly designed for various heavy oil catalytic cracking installations
where gasoline octane number is needed to upgrade. With such catalyst, 90# or higher grade gasoline can be
produced directly. It is especially suitable for heavy oil catalytic cracking installations which process paraffin based
feedstock.
ZRP-3 (RPSA) shape selective molecular sieve is introduced in DOCR catalyst as kernel active component, which

has high thermal and hydrothermal stability, C3= and C4= increasing ability and isomerization ability. Octane value
of gasoline and yield of LPG can both be increased.
ZRP-5 shape selective molecular sieve is introduced in DOCP catalyst as kernel active component, which has stronger isomerization
ability than RPSA, and can transform straight chain gasoline into branch chain. So, octane value of gasoline can be increased, while yield
of light oil and LPG is basically not influenced.
While obtaining perfect products distribution, at the same time, improving FCC gasoline octane number, the series
catalysts are all applicable for processing blended heavy oil.
CC-20D Series
CC-20D is a maximum diesel FCC catalyst with high activity and coke selectivity etc. On the premise of ensuring
conversion ability to heavy oil, activity of large pores of carrier is increased, and high yield of light oil is achieved.
CC-20D series catalyst adopts complex molecular sieve preparation technology, varieties and ratio of PSRY,
REUSY and SRCY molecular sieves are adjusted, selective RPSA or ZRP-5 zeolite with different Si/Al ratio is
also adopted. On customers demand, maximum diesel catalyst considering LPG, octane value and anti-vanadium
ability can be produced.
CC-20DV is a maximum diesel catalyst considering anti-vanadium ability.
CC-20DF is a catalyst product specially designed for double-riser technology.

CC-200D
CC-200D is a kind of diesel oriented catalyst with mid bulk density. Yield of LPG, anti-contamination from
vanadium and blending with residue oil are taken into consideration simultaneously.
Olefin-Reducing Catalyst
GOR-C, GRV-C
GOR-C olefin-reducing catalyst adopts modified Ymolecular sieve, MOY,as its main active component, which is
modified with unique oxide and endowed with excellent hydrogen transfer activity, fine coke selectivity and
excellent cracking ability to heavy oil. The catalyst has high activity and strength, which can realize selective
hydrogen transfer reaction and ensure effective utilization of hydrogen resource in feedstock and reasonable
distribution in product. This catalyst also has the ability to reduce olefin in FCC gasoline prominently by 10~15V
%. Combined with operation techniques, olefin content in FCC gasoline can be steadily controlled under 35V%,
while content of isomerized alkane and aromatics can be increased and yield of LPG keeps at a high level.
GRV-C is a kind of new type high-efficiency anti-vanadium olefin-reducing catalyst. This catalyst is composed of
active components and carrier with high cracking activity to heavy oil and good coke selectivity, which are
specially developed toward intermediate feedstock. Semi-synthesized carrier bonded with alumina is adopted to
improve anti-contamination ability of catalyst from heavy metal. PTI preparation technology of catalyst is
developed to improve interfacial adhesion between carrier and molecular sieve, and further increase anti-abrasion
strength. Cracking activity and hydrogen transfer activity are adjusted and appropriately matched to endow the
catalyst with both olefin-reducing function and strong cracking ability to heavy oil. AEP matrix is also adopted to
adjust acid distribution and pore distribution of catalyst to achieve good coke selectivity.
CDC
CDC is a brand-new chemically designed catalyst with gradient pore distribution and gradient acid center, which
makes it possible for heavy oil macromolecule to access active center and being of excellent desorbing/diffusing
ability. CDC catalyst possesses excellent activity and stability, profound conversion ability to heavy oil and high
hydrogen transfer activity. Coke can be reduced at the same time. Through formulation adjustment, it can increase
propylene content in product. As a new type FCC catalyst, it can meet various demands of oil refiners.
COR Series
This series of olefin-reducing catalysts adopt modified Y molecular sieve, MOY, as its main active component,
which is modified with unique oxide and endowed with excellent hydrogen transfer activity, fine coke selectivity
and excellent cracking ability to heavy oil. The catalyst has high activity and strength, which can realize selective
hydrogen transfer reaction and ensure effective utilization of hydrogen resource in feedstock and reasonable
distribution in product. This catalyst also has the ability to reduce olefin in FCC gasoline prominently by 10~15V

%. Combined with operation techniques, olefin content in FCC gasoline can be steadily controlled under 35V%,
while content of isomerized alkane and aromatic hydrocarbon can be increased.
COR-C catalyst is suitable for catalytic cracking installation with non-paraffin based feedstock.
CORVis suitable for catalytic cracking installation with feedstock of heavy metal, especially vanadium.
CORH has excellent anti-contamination performance from metal.
CORS is of high yield of diesel oil and high octane value of gasoline.
DOCO
DOCO olefin-reducing catalyst is good for selective hydrogen transfer reaction, which can control the coke and dry
gas yield effectively and ensure liquid yield. This catalyst has the ability to reduce olefin in gasoline prominently by
10~11V% at the same time, and olefin content can be steadily controlled under 35V%, which can meet the
demand of new standard gasoline. This catalyst also has strong isomerization ability, and isomerization index
(isobutane to isobutene ratio in LPG) can be increased by 1.02~1.05%, isoalkane in gasoline can be increased by
8.09%, aromatic can be increased by 1.89%, which is very important to keep octane number.
GOR-II
Based on industrial applications of the first generation olefin-reducing catalyst, GOR-II is developed to meet the
demand of oil refining plants to improve product distribution and further enhance cracking ability to heavy oil.
GOR-II catalyst has the following characters. Effective match of selective hydrogen transfer activity and cracking
activity is ensured through performance improvement and blending of active components. Good selective
hydrogen transfer activity can ensure olefin-reducing effect to gasoline, while high cracking activity can increase
conversion with heavy oil. New type matrix is adopted to control pore distribution and increase medium pore
proportion to enhance heavy oil cracking ability, increase yield of diesel oil, and restrain coking at the same time.
Acid distribution of catalyst is adjusted properly to reduce coke and dry gas.
GOR-III
The third generation olefin-reducing catalyst, GOR-III, is developed to further improve olefin-reduction
performance. Through further modification of main active components, selective molecular sieve and matrix,
olefin-reducing margin and cracking ability is further enhanced, hydrothermal stability of catalyst is elevated, coke
selectivity and product distribution is improved. Industrial application result reveals: in comparison with the second
generation olefin-reducing catalyst, E-cat activity of GOR-III can be decreased by 3% more and octane value of
gasoline is elevated slightly.
RMS-8
In order to meet the increasingly diversifying demands of customers for product distribution, RMS-8 catalyst is a
new type residue FCC catalyst developed to increase gasoline yield and reduce olefin of gasoline. Commercial

application result reveals that RMS-8 has strong cracking ability to heavy oil macromolecule, high gasoline yield,
good anti-contamination ability from heavy metal, and appropriate olefin reducing ability etc.
RGD-C
RGD-C catalyst has good industrial application effect on increasing yield of LPG and diesel oil. Modified and
composite ultra-stable molecular sieve is adopted in RGD-C catalyst, appropriate selective molecular sieve and
trapping components for metal contaminations are added, and content of middle-pore active components are
increased. This catalyst has strong conversion ability to heavy oil, strong anti-contamination ability from heavy
metal, good coke and dry gas selectivity. Less coke and dry gas can be achieved in reaction of gasoline under
rigorous condition. RGD-C can selectively crack gasoline to LPG with high yield of LPG and diesel oil.
CMOD Series
CMOD catalyst adopts multiple high-performance molecular sieves (ultra-stable Y molecular sieve, RPSA
molecular sieve etc) as its active components. It is produced with high solid content technology. With high activity
and strength, CMOD catalyst has prominent effect in increasing yield of diesel oil and LPG. When yield of LPG
reaches 15~20m%, yield of diesel oil is basically maintained. CMOD catalyst has good vanadium resistance.
CMOD catalyst also has good basic nitrogen resistance, where large proportion coking gas oil can be processed.
CMOD-100 can tolerate vanadium over 10,000 ppm on E-cat.
CMOD-200 catalyst can tolerate vanadium 5,000~10,000 ppm on E-cat.

modification technology are applied to endow CIP-2 catalytic pyrolysis catalyst with high cracking activity, high
stability, good olefin selectivity, high octane value of gasoline and strong anti-abrasion performance.
Special Catalyst for CPP Process
CD002
Combining catalytic pyrolysis process (CPP) with matched catalyst CD002, under the reaction temperature of
560~650 , light olefin, dominant in ethylene and propylene, can be produced with heavy petroleum
hydrocarbon as feedstock. Furthermore, by controlling reaction condition, yield ratio of ethylene to propylene can
also be adjusted to meet the demand change with flexibility. CD002 catalyst contributes to both high yield of light
olefin and high hydrothermal activity and stability. It can meet rigorous operation demand of catalytic pyrolysis
technology.
Special Catalyst for MIP Process
CR022
MIP is an FCC process that directly produces gasoline with low olefin content and high octane value. Its kernel
technology is to revamp existing FCC riser reaction system appropriately, and divide conventional single reaction
section into two reaction sections with different reaction temperature and reaction time. MIP technology makes
catalytic cracking reaction proceed in each reaction section controllably and selectively, and realizes the goal to
produce maximum isomerized alkane and FCC gasoline with low olefin content and high octane value directly.
CR022 catalyst is specialized for MIP technology. Industrial application result reveals that it has high heavy oil
cracking performance, good coke selectivity, high yield of light oil and prominent olefin-reducing function.
CRMI-2
CRMI-2 catalyst is specialized for MIP technologywhich possesses the characters of high activity, high thermal
and hydrothermal stability and good coke selectivity. In conjunction with MIP technology, it can reduce olefin
content in gasoline, and maintain RON at the same time. CRMI series catalyst adopts preparation technology of
composite molecular sieves, variety and ratio of molecular sieves (PSRY or REUSY) are adjusted, and selective
molecular sieves (RPSA or ZRP-5) with different Si/Al ratio are adopted to increase yield of propylene on the
premise of maintaining heavy oil conversion and total liquid yield.

MP031
MP031 is developed to increase the propylene content in LPG aiming at the increasingly growing demand for
propylene in current market. Industrial application result reveals that under the same operating condition, with a
proportion of 4~8m% additive, yield of propylene (relative to feedstock) can increase by 0.5~0.8m% on the
premise of small increase in yield of LPG.

CHPA Series
CHPAis a kind of FCC additive to obtain high yield of propylene developed by RIPP. This additive adopts metal
modified ZSM-5 molecular sieve as active components, and is prepared with particular carrier technology. The
product has certain MAT activity without any influence to activity of the main catalyst. It can increase propylene
content in LPG (i.e. yield of propylene) while maintaining conversion rate and total liquid yield.
spherical shape, and CB-60, CB-70 catalysts have strip shape. Re-to-Pt ratio of CB-6, CB-60 catalysts is 1, and Reto-Pt ratio of CB-7, CB-70 catalysts is higher than 1. The catalysts, such as CB-6/CB-7, CB-60/CB-70 adopt twosection filling process in commercial application. In comparison with CB-6, content of precious metal Pt in CB-7
catalyst is lowered by 30% while content of precious metal Pt in CB-60 catalyst is lowered by 20%. Reaction
performance evaluation and commercial application result reveal that CB series catalysts performance has
exceeded the level of imported reference catalyst with the characters of simple start-up procedure, short start-up
time, low hydrogen consumption etc. Catalyst can be adjusted to water and chlorine balance quickly and
effectively in normal running process. Regeneration is easy and safe by adopting a dry method pressurized
process, which simplifies coke burning procedure, shortens coke burning time, lessens surface area loss and
chlorine loss. Catalyst performance can be recovered very well after regeneration. Catalyst can be regenerated
either on-site or off-site, and off-site regeneration has more advantage. CB series catalyst has been used more than
sixty plants not only by domestic customers, but also by overseas customers.
PRT Series
PRT-A, PRT-B, PRT-C, PRT-D are new generation strip multi-metal semi-regeneration catalytic reforming
catalysts developed by RIPP and produced by Changling Division. They have the characters of high carrier purity,
proper pore distribution, high strength and chlorine-holding ability. Selectivity and stability are further improved,
and carbon deposit velocity is decreased.
PRT-A and PRT-C are multi-metal catalysts of which Re-to-Pt ratio is 1, and PRT-B and PRT-D are multi-metal
catalysts of which Re-to-Pt ratio is higher than 1. Two-section filling process is adopted in commercial application,
for example, PRT-A and PRT-B are filled together, PRT-C and PRT-D are filled together. PRT-A/ PRT-B have the
same performance with PRT-C/ PRT-D basically. In comparison with CB-60/ CB-70 catalysts, conversion rate of
aromatic with PRT-A/ PRT-B and PRT-C/ PRT-D can be increased by over 5%, liquid yield can be increased by
over 1%, while carbon deposit can be decreased by over 18% under the same reaction condition. Catalysts activity,
selectivity and stability have all reached international advanced level with good regeneration performance and feed
adaptability, and excellent processing ability even for lean naphthenic straight-run oil and secondary processing oil.
In commercial application, continuous running time of PRT-A/PRT-B and PRT-C/PRT-D reached thirty months
and twenty-nine months respectively in the first period. PRT series catalyst keeps the characters of CB series for
applied process. Presently, PRT series catalyst has already been applied in ten plants.
Continuous Reforming Catalyst
GCR Series
GCR series catalyst is a new generation continuous reforming catalyst with high activity and hydrothermal stability
developed by RIPP.
The obvious characteristic of the new generation GCR series continuous reforming catalyst is its improved activity.
It is increased by 6 to 8 degrees centigrade in comparison with previous generation reforming catalyst applied
widely in the domestic units. At the same time, due to the adoption of new type catalytic materials, the ability of
anti-high temperature hydrothermal treating is improved significantly, the surface area decreasing rate is slowed,
and its life time is prolonged double times more than previous generation, which improves the economics sharply.

Moreover, the chlorine-holding ability is increased, and the injected chlorine quantity can be reduced to half, which
can inhibit the chloride corrosion of downstream process obviously. The mechanical strength of the product is
improved, with better anti-abrasion performance and less dust from circulation and transportation.
Within GCR series, GCR-100 is an economic catalyst with low Pt content, while GCR-100A has a slightly higher
Pt content. GCR series catalyst product is in reductive state with small sphere diameter of 1.4~2.0 mm.
The new generation GCR series continuous reforming catalyst is suitable for the reforming process aiming at highoctane number gasoline, aromatic, and hydrogen with feedstock of straight-run naphtha, hydrocracking heavy
naphtha, pyrolysis gasoline, coking gasoline, catalytic gasoline, condensed oil etc.
RC Series
RC series is a one of the newest generation, high selective and low carbon-depositing rate catalyst developed by
RIPP in recent years. RC011 PS-VI was applied successfully in Zhenhai Refinery Branch. RC011 is an
economic catalyst with lower Pt content, and Pt content, while RC031 PS-VII has a slightly higher Pt
content.
RC series continuous reforming catalyst has obvious characteristics as follows: It has good selectiveness, with high
C5+ liquid yield, and increased aromatic and hydrogen yield. Carbon-depositing rate decreases obviously for more
than 20% under the same rigorous reacting condition. At the same time, good hydrothermal stability, chlorineholding ability and excellent mechanical strength are kept.
The newest RC series continuous reforming catalyst is suitable for the reforming process aiming at high-octane
number gasoline, aromatic, and hydrogen with feedstock of straight-run naphtha, hydrocracking heavy naphtha,
pyrolysis gasoline, coking gasoline, catalytic gasoline, condensed oil etc. Because of the low carbon-depositing rate,
it makes special sense for the capacity expanding and revamping, especially for the continuous reforming plants
with a constrained regeneration ability.

RN-10B is especially suitable for the production expanding plants that need to decrease pressure drop, and the new
and old plants that need to improve the product quality.
RN-32 (including RN-32V) is a new generation high-performance hydrorefining catalyst developed by RIPP after
complete optimization with very high de-nitrogen and de-sulfur activity. Compared with RN-2 catalyst, under
reaction temperature of 375~385 , hydrogen pressure of 8.0 Mpa and volume space velocity of 1.0 h-1, denitrogen activity is increased by 20~28%, de-sulfur activity is increased by 82~136%, while maintaining good
activity stability. RN-32V catalyst has already been applied in Sinopec Jinan Branch, Sinopec Changling Branch
and Sinopec Jingmen Branch successfully.
RN-32 catalyst is suitable for preprocessing of hydrocracking feedstock, hydrotreating of gas oil, and catalytic
cracking feedstock. RN-32 (including RN-32V) can not only solve the processing problem of high-nitrogen oil,
but also give technical support to production expanding.
RIDOS Series
Catalytic Cracking Gasoline hydro-desulfur olefin-reducing technology (abbreviated as RIDOS technology), uses
olefin-rich FCC gasoline as its feed, and separates gasoline into two fractions, light fraction and heavy fraction
according to product objective and feed property. Light fraction is extracted and refined with alkali to remove thiol,
while heavy fraction is hydro-desulfurized and olefin reduced and finally light fraction and heavy fraction are
blended to get full-fraction gasoline product. This technology can be utilized in production of clean gasoline with
sulfur content lower than 200 ppm, olefin content lower than 20 V%, and loss of anti-explosion index less than 2
units. It is recognized that RIDOS technology has reached advanced level in international like technologies.

Catalysts applied in RIDOS technology include RGO-2 guard catalyst, RS-1A hydro-refining catalyst and
RIDOS-1 hydro-isomerization catalyst. Characters of RIDOS series catalysts are proper shape with strength
increase and diffusion resistance decrease, high diene saturating performance, high hydro-desulfurization, olefin
saturating and isomerization activity, efficient coke restrain and long-term operation. Its desulfurization rate is over
90%, olefin saturating rate over 60%, with minor loss of octane value. RIDOS technology was applied on the
220,000ton/a hydro-treating process of FCC gasoline successfully in Yanshan Branch.
It is applicable for deep desulfurization and olefin-decreasing of olefin-rich FCC gasoline, and object product is
clean gasoline with low octane number loss.
RIC Series
Developed by RIPP, containing metal components (Ni and W) and molecular sieve, RIC-1/RIC-2 catalysts are
used to raise cetane value and decrease density of diesel oil from FCC process with residue oil blended feedstock.
These catalysts have high saturating activity to aromatics, high cracking activity, good selectivity, high activity to
remove sulfur and nitrogen. They can improve cetane value by more than 8~12 units, decrease diesel oil density by
more than 0.035 g/cm3, and diesel yield is more than 95%. Clean diesel with less than 50ppm sulfur content can be
obtained, and the quality of inferior diesel oil such as FCC diesel oil can be upgraded.

RIC-1/RIC-2 catalysts are mainly used to upgrade the quality of inferior diesel such as FCC diesel. RIC-1/RIC-2
catalysts can either act as hydrotreating catalysts in the single catalyst and single section process, or act as
hydrocracking catalysts in the double catalysts and double sections process.

RT Series
Main components of trilobe-shape strip RT-1 catalyst are Ni, W, and Y molecular sieve. RT-1 catalyst has certain
hydro-desulphurization, hydro-denitrogenation and aromatics saturating ability with good cracking selectivity and
anti-nitrogen stability. It has been successfully applied on industrial plants.
RT-1 catalyst can also be used in middle-pressure hydrocracking technology of heavy vacuum gas oil (RMC).
Main components of trilobe-shape strip RT-5 moderate-pressure hydrocracking catalyst are W, Ni, and Y

RT-5 catalyst has very strong hydrocracking activity and good anti-nitrogen stability with certain hydrodesulphurization, hydro-denitrogenation and aromatics saturating ability. It has been successfully applied in many
domestic hydrocracking plants. Moderate-pressure hydrogenation upgrading technology combining RN-1
hydrorefining catalyst and RT-5 hydrocracking catalyst is regarded as one of the three great updated technologies in
the world for producing diesel oil with low sulfur and aromatics content by American Oil & Gas magazine.
RT-5 catalyst can also be used in moderate-pressure hydrocracking technology of heavy vacuum gas oil (RMC).
RT-5 can be used in moderate-pressure hydrocracking technology of heavy vacuum gas oil (RMC), also it can be
used in high-pressure hydrocracking process.
RHC-1
RHC-1 catalyst was developed by RIPP with characters of high hydrogenation activity and high selective ringopening performance. It can decrease BMCI of product tail oil, and is especially suitable for the production of top
grade chemical feedstock under moderate pressure condition (trim pyrolysis feedstock of low BMCI and
reforming feedstock with high latent aromatics), and hydrocracking process of top grade transportation fuel with
ultra-low sulfur content. RHC-1 catalyst was applied in the 1.3 million ton/a hydrocracking plant of Sinopec
Yanshan Branch. The result revealed BMCI of tail oil decreased by about two units, which increased ethylene yield
of downstream steamed cracking ethylene process.

Guard Catalyst
RG Series
As crude oil is becoming heavier, feedstock quality in hydrogenation process is also becoming worse. Life of
hydrogen catalyst and operation period of installation is also shortened. RG-1 protector is just developed to solve
the above problem by RIPP.
In hydrogenation procedure of residue oil, large amount of impurities are found in the feedstock such as Fe, Ca and
coke-producing material. These impurities will deposit on the high-activity de-metal catalyst rapidly. As a result, the
bed pressure-drop will rise quickly. In order to delay the bed pressure-drop rising, a protective layer that can
accommodate large amount of Fe and coke should be placed on top of the de-metal catalyst layer. High activity is
not demanded for protective catalyst, because impurity atoms (such as Fe etc) are very easy to be removed. What is
needed is large space enough (including the porosity of bed layer of protective catalyst) to accommodate deposits.
Meanwhile the protector should have enough crushing resistance. Protector RG-10 series catalyst is a special-shape
catalyst with high strength and large pore volume, which is specially developed to solve the above problem. This
catalyst series include RG-10, RG-10A, RG-10B and RG-10C. They can be used individually or in combination
according to particular situation, and can be used as protector in other hydrogenation processes.
RG-10 is an inert guard catalyst with seven-hole ball shape filled on the top of reactor. The function is to block and
capture granule from residue, improve stream status of liquid and decrease pressure drop of bed.
RG-10A/B are Raschig ring shape guard catalysts with Ni-Mo/Alumina as components. Outside diameter of RG10A is about 6.0mm, while RG-10B is about 3.5 mm. The main function is to remove impurities such as Fe, Ca
and Na, as well as Ni and V to a certain extent from feedstock. RG-10A/B are filled after RG-10 usually.
From RG-10 to RG-10A, RG-10B, the activity increases from naught to existence, and granular reduces from big
to small. RG-10, RG-10A and RG-10B have excellent activity and granular combination to protect the main
catalyst.
The three guard catalysts have already been applied in industrial plants successfully.
They are applicable in hydrotreating process of inferior feedstock (heavy oil), and be filled on the top of reactor
subsection by subsection. The main function is to remove granule and impurities such as Fe, Ca and Na from
feedstock.
RP-1
RP-1 is a kind of active support developed by RIPP. It is trilobe-shape strip and mainly contains W, Ni and alumina.

When a secondary processing oil (such as thermal processing gasoline, diesel oil and other gas oil etc.) is processed,
such oil is easy to produce coke under high temperature on the top of bed layer causing the bed pressure-drop to rise
rapidly because there are considerable alkene and diene in the oil products. If a layer of catalyst with low activity is
placed on top of the catalyst layer, diene can be hydrogenated rapidly and the top coking can be avoided. On
demand of the above hydrogenation technology, RP-1 active support is designed. RP-1 has excellent diene
saturating performance and certain hydro-desulfurization ability and de-nitrification ability. It also has high
mechanical strength with low price.

Polyolefin Catalyst
(1) PE Catalyst Gas Phase Process
BCG Series
BCG (BCG-I and BCG-II) catalyst is a kind of Ziegler-Natta type high-efficiency PE catalyst with SiO2 as its
support. It is invented by BRICI. It is suitable for ethylene polymerization or co-polymerization in gas-phase
fluidized bed technology, especially those of Unipol technology. Its technological characters are listed below.
It has high activity, which is larger than 5 kgPE/gCat (Unipol industrial installation). It has very good fluidity. It has
good response to hydrogen regulation. It has good co-polymerization performance. The polymer produced has
high bulk density, which is larger than 0.35 g/cm3 (Unipol industrial installation). The polymer produced has good
particle shape, narrow particle size distribution and contains little fines.
SCG-1 Series
The SCG-1 catalyst is a new type of high-efficiency product used for gas-phase polyethylene plant with the Unipol process. The SCG-1
catalyst is a powder catalyst based on TiCl4-Mg Cl2 system. The SCG-1 series catalyst contains three types: SCG-1() , SCG-1(),
SCG-1(), and can be used for producing full range density PE resin (from low to high). It means that the resin product of all low, all
medium and partial high densities ( HDPE with MI2.168) can be produced by SCG-1() or SCG-1(). SCG-1() is only used for all
high density and narrow MWD PE product. The operating condition of reactor is the same as the original patent designing. The main
properties of SCG-1 are listed below.
It operates smoothly in the gas-phase fluidized reactor, the reaction is easy to control, and electrostatic sheeting and violent polymerization
caused by catalyst can thus be avoided. It is high in activity. It is quick in action and termination, better adapted to reactor at high load and
condensed mode running. The SCG-1 catalyst is sensitive to hydrogen adjustment, and its hydrogen response is superior to that of same
kind catalysts. The SCG-1 catalyst is high in copolymerizing power, and its response to copolymerizing monomers is superior to that of
same kind catalyst.
Compared with the imported catalyst, the SCG-1catalyst particles are better shaped, the particle size distribution is a
little narrower, and it has a suitable strength of bursting, no gathering, and adhesion of the particles, which manifest
good free-flowing property and easy to feed in the catalyst feeder.
SLC-G
The SLC-G is developed on the base of catalyst formulation. The commercial technology including special facilities and process/quality
control were self-exploited by Shanghai Leader, and the catalyst is made with technology magnified by Shanghai Leader. The SLC-G
catalyst is Ziegler -Natta polyethylene catalyst based on special silica. It can be used in ethylene co-polymerization and

homopolymerization of gas-phase fluidized-bed. The technical characteristics of the catalyst are listed below.
It has high productivity, which is about 8-12 kgPE/gCat. It has very good response to hydrogen regulation. It has good response to comonomer. It has high settle bulk density on resin, which is larger than 0.35 g/cm 3. With good free-flowing property, it can be applied in
intrinsic feeder system and software system of Unipol process. There is very good particle shape of resin, narrow particle size distribution
and few fines.
SCG-3/4/5 Series
The SCG-3 catalyst is used in Unipol process. SCG-3 catalyst is chrome-based, with medium molecular weight distribution (MFR=5090), used in the production of HDPE, and its properties, uses and method of use are the same as those of the imported B-300 (F-3)
catalyst, however, because of improvement on the support and electron donor, its properties are somewhat improved.
The SCG-4 catalyst is used in Unipol process. SCG-4 catalyst is chrome-based, with medium molecular weight distribution (MFR=5090), used in the production of LLDPE, and its properties, uses and method of use are the same as those of the imported B-400(F-4)
catalyst.And, because of improvement on the support and electron donor, its properties are somewhat improved.
The SCG-5 catalyst is used for production of broad molecular weight distribution(MFR=75-150 ) HDPE in Unipol process, just the
same as the traditional imported G-300 (S-2) catalyst. Its performance indices and uses are exactly the same as those of the imported G300 (S-2) catalyst. It is a chromium (Cr) based catalyst for the production of all the brands of HDPE made with the original G-300
catalyst.
BCS Series
BCS Series (BCS01, BCS02) catalysts are a kind of slurry catalysts which are applicable to ethylene
polymerization with Unipol process and BP process. They can be used to produce a variety of PE grades, including
injection molding, extrusion molding and flow molding.
They have high activity within the range of 15~30kgPE/gCat in industrial process. The polymer produced has high
bulk density which is larger than 0.32g/cm3. They have excellent copolymerization performance and hydrogen
response. The melt flow index of polymer produced is adjustable between 0.2~80 g/10min.. The polymer
produced has good morphology and contains few fines.
The difference is that BCS01 catalyst adopts MgCl2 as its support and that BCS01 catalyst adopts SiO2 as its
support.
SLC-S
The SLC-S is developed on the base of catalyst formulation from bench-scale with autonomous intellectual property. The commercial
technology including special facilities and process/quality control were self-exploited by Shanghai Leader, and the catalyst is made with
technology magnified by Shanghai Leader.
The SLC-S is a slurry catalyst with some solids in the special mineral oil. It is a non-silica supported Mg/Ti catalyst and is designed to
replace traditional powder catalyst. SLC-S is used for producing narrow LLDPE, MDPE and HDPE on gas-phase fluidized-bed
polyethylene process. Its main properties are shown below.

It has a high productivity, which can reach 25-38 kgPE/gCat. The chemistry and polymerization behavior are similar to those of powder
catalyst, but are not identical. SLC-S and powder catalyst require same C4=/C2= or C6=/C2= ratio for a given density, but the activity of
SLC-S is higher with comonomer and it has lower hexane extraction ratio. Lower SLC-S catalyst is required in reactor for same Al/Ti
ratio. Hydrogen response of SLC-S is 30% better than powder catalyst for same MI. Lower T 2 is required by the reactor, and T2 level in
the reactor is 75% lower than powder catalyst. Moreover, there is less ash in the product and FAR is better.
SLC-i Series
The SLC-i catalyst is a new type of high-efficiency product used for gas-phase polyethylene plant of Innovene process. The SLC-i
catalyst is a powder catalyst based on TiCl4-Mg system.
The SLC-i series catalyst contains two types: SLC-i (LD) and SLC-i(HD), and can be used for producing full range of density PE resin
(from low to high). It means that the resin product of all low,all medium can be produced by SLC-i (LD). SLC-i(HD) is only used for all
high density and narrow MWD PE product. The operating condition of reactor is the same as Innovene original patent designing. The
main properties of SLC-i are listed below.

BCE Catalyst
BCE catalyst is a new kind of high-efficiency PE catalyst aimed to produce high grade PE product in slurry process. It can be used to
produce a variety of HDPE and MDPE products including the pipe material of PE80, PE100.
It has high activity, which is larger than 25 kgPE/gCat.. It has good co-polymerization performance with less oligomer. The
hydrogen response property is good and the bulk density of polymer is larger than 0.38 g/cm3 , which is much higher than that of the
same kind of catalyst. Thus the load of the reactor can be enhanced easily. The polymer produced has good morphology, narrow particle
size distribution and contains few fines. All properties of BCE have exceeded or reached the level of imported catalyst.
NT-1
NT-1 catalyst is a new kind high efficiency supported catalyst. Its activity is larger than 600 kgPE/gTi. The bulk
density of the polymer produced is larger than 0.30g/cm3. It has good particle shape and good co-polymerization
performance etc. It is suitable for co-polymerization of ethylene with hexene and other -olefins, and it shows
excellent co-polymerization performance. The catalyst has very good response toward hydrogen regulation.

NG
NG catalyst is particularly designed for the Innovene process. And the PP resin of various brands can be produced. It has been applied on
several industrial installations successfully. Its main technological characters are listed below.
It has high activity, which is larger than 55 kgPP/gCat (liquid phase bulk polymerization, 70, two hours). It has good response
towards hydrogen regulation, and the melt flow index of polymer produced with it is adjustable between 0.2~40 g/10min. It has high
stereo-specific ability, and the polymer produced with it has high isotacticity. It has good co-polymerization performance. The polymer
produced with it has high bulk density, which is larger than 0.46 g/ cm3. The polymer produced with it has good particle shape, good
fluidity.The PPresin produced with it has excellent mechanical performance.
NA
NAcatalyst is a new kind of granular PP catalyst. It has high activity and high impurity resistance. It has good morphology, high specific
surface area. It has adjustable stereo-specific ability. It has high sensitivity to hydrogen regulation, stable release of activity and good copolymerization performance. There are few fines in the catalyst and the polymer produced with it. The catalyst can be used in production
of impact-resistant co-polymer. It has already been used in producing high-speed BOPP resins and impact-resistance copolymers in the
Hypol process. The main properties of NAcatalyst are shown below.
It has high activity, which is larger than 45 kgPP/gCat (liquid phase bulk polymerization, 70, two hours). It has good response

towards hydrogen regulation, and the melt flow index of polymer produced with it is adjustable between 0.2~40 g/10min. It has
adjustable stereo-specific ability, and the polymer produced with it has an adjustable isotacticity. It has good co-polymerization
performance. The polymer produced with it has high bulk density, which is larger than 0.46 g/ cm3. The polymer produced with it has
good particle shape, good fluidity.The PPresin produced with it has excellent mechanical performance.
ND Catalyst
ND catalyst is a new kind of PP catalyst with new internal electron donor. It has excellent properties and can be used in a variety of PP
installations. It has super high activity which is about 30% higher than that of the same kind of catalyst. The isotacticity index is easy to
adjust. The hydrogen response performs variously. Series inner donors correspond to series hydrogen responses, from low to high, to
meet different conditions. The distribution of molecular weight of polymer is broad and the polymer produced has both a good
mechanical property and a good manufacturing property. The polymer produced has good morphology and contains few fines.
YS Series
YS 841/842 polypropylene catalyst is gray brown crystal powder. Its activity is larger than 40 kgPP/gCat. It has
good particle shape and cavity structure. It has excellent polymerization kinetic behavior, which is favorable for the
operation and control of industrial polymerization process. It is suitable for PP installations of slurry process, Hypol
process and batch bulk process. The polymer produced with it shows a bulk density about 0.42~0.45 g/cm3. The
main technological indexes of the catalyst have reached the international standard of the similar catalysts.

HDC
HDC is Ziegler-Natta carrier-type high-efficiency catalyst which belongs to the fourth generation. It has the characters of high
activity, long life and high impurity resistance etc. The catalyst has good co-polymerization performance. The polymer produced with it
has a high isotacticity. The average particle size of the polymer produced with it is around 0.8~5.0 mm, and the polymer particle is in the
spherical shape. There are few fines contained in the products.

It has high initial selectivity. The initial selectivity is between 80-83% depending on the plants operation. It has high
activity. The initial temperature is around 220-230 depending on production load. The space-time yield can
reach maximum 280 gEO/h.l, which makes it one of the best catalysts in commercial application. It shows
extraordinary stability. It is quite stable with slow declined speed in selectivity and slow decay in activity. And it can
be used for 2-5 years in commercial plant application. The selectivity in later stage is normally over 78%.

(1) PX Sorbent
RAX-2000A
It is a kind of solid molecular sieve sorbent developed by RIPP. It is used in the simulating remotion-bed process to
separate the high purity xylene product from the xylene mixture containing C8 non-aromatic compounds, ethyl
benzene (EB), Paraxylene(PX), mata-xylene(MX) and OX. It is an ideal selection for replacement of aromatic PX
sorbent in separation unit. It has been used in the domestic Parex commercial plant designed by UOP successfully.
Industrial result reveals that the purity of PX is 99.8%, and the yield of PX is over 98%.
conventional catalytic oxidizing catalyst, HTS makes oxidizing process simpler. The reaction condition is moderate
as it can proceed under normal pressure and low temperature (20~100 ). The catalytic oxidizing activity is
improved. The yield and selectivity of the final oxidization products are raised. It is also an environment protecting
product since the pollution is prominently reduced.

BC-118B developed by BRICI is a catalyst for production of maleic anhydride from selective oxidation of benzene. This is a new type
lanthanon V2O5-MoO3 series catalyst. The active components are holding on the inert cricoid carrier. The catalyst has been used in
more than thirty units in China, such as Kaifeng organic chemical plant, Taiyuan Qiaoyou, Shanxi Taiming, Changzhou Shuguang,
Shanghai Changfeng, etc.

This product is the white-colored oil finely prepared through two-stage high-pressure phdrogenation of
the distillation cut of petroleum lubrication oil.
Characteristice:
Mineral oil industrial grade is a colorless, transparent, odourless , tasteless and oily liquid and free from
fluorescence, It can dissolve in ether, chloroform, gasoline and benzene, not in water or alcohol.

Uses:
It severs as lubricant, solvent or coolant for spinning and weaving in chemical or synthetic fibre industry
in order to soften and brighten textiles. Also it is used as wetting agent, solvent or lubricant in the
industries of synthetic resin and plastic processing.
