Asking Question
Teachers ask students questions for a variety of
reasons. They may wish to find out what a student already
knows about a given subject or situation, or they may wish
to stimulate interest in a new topic. Teacher may utilize
questions as feedback to determine if students have already
grasped the major points under consideration. Questioning
permits students and teacher to explore ideas together. The
art of questioning, more than any other teaching skill, can
assist teachers in conveying their interest, enthusiasm, and
continued pursuit of learning.
