Our Solutions: Alpha ESS Storion ECO S3 & Storion ECO S5 with M4860 LFP Batteries

A single inverter is used to supply electricity to a battery bank, and to supply loads and grid.
Can be used as a UPS: When the grid fails, the system can automatically switch to off-grid mode

and supply loads via energy stored in battery.

Includes Off-Grid function (Can be used as a standalone system)
Can specify a time frame, during which the battery will be charged.
To suit different customer needs, the system can set up a UPS reserved capacity under the selfconsumption logic.
Possible to manage remotely via EMS (Energy management System).
The Alpha ESS system is a single phase system as such it has to be fitted into the phase
with the highest energy consumption, it cannot be installed onto all 3 phases.

FYI
The Time of Use Tariff Scheme is being contemplated and will be
applicable in the near future.
As of yet, it is being trialed in certain regions by CEB.
If the above system is implemented you are able to gain Peak usage
savings, in addition to its function as a UPS (backup unit).

Batteries will be charged via energy generated by Solar Panels during the day. The
loads will be supplied with stored energy from the batteries, during Peak time when
the sun has set, and when the electricity unit charge is higher (Rs.54/kWh).
This scheme enables you to

Save on daytime electricity costs via solar energy

Save on peak consumption costs via energy stored in batteries.
Use Off-Peak electricity from the grid at a cheaper rate (Rs.13/kWh), compared to
the normal residential cost, which is Rs.46 /kWh.
