BALTIMORE, Sept. 20, 2016 -- HealthWay Pharmacies announced the rollout of their Healthy
Me campaign, its free health services campaign, that will deliver $5 million worth of health care
services to uninsured or underinsured individuals.
Healthy Me services will start Thursday, Sept. 26 and run through Dec. 9 at select
HealthWay locations in five multicultural communities in Baltimore. They will be held from 1
p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays, walk-ins only.
Every day our 2,475 employees strive to break the barriers to quality health care and
improve access for patients by providing free health screenings and educational materials
ensuring better health for many Americans, said Marsha Robinson, chairman and CEO of
HealthWay. Healthy Me is part of HealthWays commitment to supporting its community by
identifying health concerns and risks for individuals who may not have sought care.
Physicians, nurse practitioners and staff will perform health risk assessments, including
cholesterol tests, blood count, urinalysis and flu shots. Once test results are examined, physicians
will refer patients who need additional medical attention to low cost or no cost health care
locations and address any questions that patients may have regarding their health.
Were striving for the perfect patient experience, every time for every patient,
Robinson said. While Healthway is offering more e-prescribing and digital pharmacy services,
