Introduction
Thank you for taking time to download this recording that shares with you the
power of prayer to balance the chakras and invite you into living and maintaining a
greater sense of well being together with a life of purpose, passion and prosperity.
This recording shares the invitation to chakra balancing in a prayer I have written
for the purpose. Let me say at the beginning of this recording that I did not set out to
write this prayer. It came to me or more accurately it came through me as I was
engaged in my daily spiritual practice of writing. It arrived complete.
Let me share this prayer before I take you into its wonderful invitation to deeper
meaning and purpose. There are seven lines in this prayer and each is related to
one of the major 7 chakras.

With this Body I Serve Loves Purpose.
With these feelings I serve Loves purpose.
With this will I serve Loves purpose.
With this heart I serve Loves purpose.
With this voice I speak Loves purpose.
With this brow I shine Loves purpose.
With this crown I AM Loves purpose.
How to Pray
The secret of our lost mode of prayer is to shift our perspective of life by feeling that
the miracle has already happened and our prayers have been answered. Now we
have the opportunity to bring this wisdom into our lives as prayers of gratitude for
what already exists, rather than asking for our prayers to be answered.

Let me say at the outset of this recording on chakra prayer healing that, in my
opinion, prayer and mediation go together. The kind of prayer I invite you to engage
with is essentially connected with the development of trust.
This is not normally considered as being the essential dynamic of prayer and it
was certainly not what I learned within my Christian upbringing in my home country
of Northern Ireland during the late 1950s and early 1960s. I learned that prayer
was where you asked for something from a force that was outside yourself. Usually
this didnt work because there is a foundational error in this approach to prayer. This
is that most people feel separate from the very force they are petitioning to give them
what they sense they lack. More often than not prayer is engaged inat a time of
crisis and not usually as a love affair between the human and the divine within you.
The way in which one is empowered through the practice of prayer is given in the
following instructions by the Master Jesus Christ when he said.

And when you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites are:
for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the
corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Truly I say
to you, They have their reward. But you, when you pray, enter
into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your
Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret
shall reward you openly. But when you pray, use not vain
repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be
heard for their much speaking.
Matthew Chapter 6 Verse 5
Prayer is really about the alignment of intention. The closet referred to in the
above lines from Mathhew 6:5 refers to the intention of entering the feeling sense
available through the heart. Whatever you ask for will be given but it really is about
your willingness to receive without conditions. This is usually the difficulty that most
people face in practicing the power of prayer. It is the willingness to accept that you
are worthy enough of being rewarded openly.
The 7 Chakra System

Before I begin to detail the 7 Chakra system and its relationship to this prayer I suggest
that you stop this recording and get some pen and payper. I am going to supply you with
some information at the end of the recording that I think will be of interest to some of you or
even many of you.
The chakra system has seven major subtle energy centres within the body. The
development and alignment of the chakras is a progressive expansion into more refined
feelings of Love. This is not a linear experience but more a spiral experience.
The spiral is a spiritualized circle. In the spiral form, the

circle, uncoiled, has ceased to be vicious; it has been set free.

This experience is beautifully illustrated in the symbol of healing that is the staff of
Caduceus, which is the symbol adopted by the medical profession in the Western world.
Learning about the 7 Chakra System is akin to learning a foreign language. It is

that demanding; it requires just as much comittment, discipline and practice. It really
is an experience of going beyond the boundaries of what you know and travelling
into unknown territory. It is, however, the invitation to the real adventure that is the
living of your one wild and precious life. It is a call to adventure into the discovery of
who you are through the direct and deepening experience of Love.
Let me now take you through this chakra prayer of intention line by line. In doing
this I will give you a very short introduction to how the words of each line of the
prayer invite chakra balance and alignment. Let me begin by reciting the prayer.
Notice two things. Firstly, notice how slowly and delibrerately I give each line
attention. Secondly, notice how each line of the prayer is surrounded by silence.
Silence is the forgotten power of prayer that the practice of chakra alignment invites
you to feel and to be. Silence is the force beloved of the greatest men and women
who have lived on this planet.
With this Body I Serve Loves Purpose.

With these feelings I serve Loves purpose.
With this will I serve Loves purpose.
With this heart I serve Loves purpose.
With this voice I speak Loves purpose.
With this brow I shine Loves purpose.
With this crown I AM Loves purpose.
Now let me take you into this prayer of chakra healing line by line. I will say each
line and then share with you a shore outline about how this conencts to the realated
chakra.

With this Body I Serve Loves Purpose

The purpose of Love is served within this dimension of time and space through
the form of the body. This is the meaning of the line from the Lords prayer
Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Matthew 6:10
The earth referred to in this line from the Lords prayer refers to your body. It is
only through your body that the will of Love, which is also the will of Heaven, can be
expressed and is intended to be expressed through you. This is how important you
are. Your body is a temple for the spirit and it is the form through which the
experience of inspiration, creativity, passion and real posperity arise.
To commit to serving Loves purpose means that you feed the body the correct
food and give it the right amount of exercise and sleep. In the words of the poet
Mary Oliver from her poem Wild Geese:
You only have to allow the soft animal of your body to love
what it loves
The proper maintenance of the body is foundational to the ability to serve the
purpose of Love as you were, and are, being created to make manifest in form. This
is the work of balancing the root chakra.

With My Feelings I Serve Loves Purpose

Too many people and especially those interested in spiritual evelopment are
detached from their feelings. There are those engaged in the practice of detachment
from the detachment of their feeling life. They become like the character Mr Duffy in
the James Joyce novel The Dubliners who lived some distance from his body. This
practice of distancing oneself from feelings is one of the dangers of an incorrect
approach to the practice of meditation.
To serve Loves purpose requires to feel your feelings. Higher Love known as
agape tends not to be readily availabe to those who deny the beauty of Eros within
them.
Eros is a unique experience but it is not love itself. It bridges

the gap between sexuality and love; it spans the chasm between
two people John Pierrakos.
Your feelings are your guidance system within this dimention of time and space.
You begin by inviting yourself to feel love for all that you are and let go of judgement
and any feelings of low esteem. You practice radical self acceptance which is not to
be equated with emotional indulgence. In the words of the poet Derek Wallcott you
begin meet with the one who has loved you all your life and the one who knows you
by heart. This is the work of the second chakra.

With this Will I Serve Loves Purpose

In order to serve the boundlessness of Love you need to have clear boundaries.
You need to be able to feel your personal power. You need to be able to assert your
will. The reason for this is because only those who have strong boundaries are
those who are able to surrender their will in order to receive what is boundless
within.
You are living in an age making the transition from the will to power to the will to
Love. The development of the personal will and the surrender of the personal will is
the work of the solar plexus chakra.
These first three chakras are concerned with the integration of the personality.
1. Root Chakra.

The heart is at the centre of the body. Your relationship to the heart is central to
living a life of purpose, passion and real prosperity. It is the bridge that integrates
the personal with the Divine. It is the bridge between the human and the being that
you are. It is the bridge you are invited to cross and allow the magical energies of
the Divine to begin to be expressed through you.
In the words of the poet Rumi you are required to build a heart house. The
promise of the heart house experience is that it takes you beyond the duality of the
second chakra. The dynamic of the second chakrat involves the trials of integrating
conflicting emotion. It is the balancing of the heart chakra that takes you into the real
peace. Your life begins to feel more and more in alignment with the One Life. The
central work of the heart chakre involves forgiveness.
In my coming book (due for publication on my birthday on 20th March, 2014)
entitled Following Loves Message 21 Ways to Balance the Heart Chakra I
share with you many ways in which this central dynamic of living your one wild and
precious life can be invited.

With This Voice I Speak Loves Purpose

You may speak Loves purpose in many ways the least of which is by way of
words. In this speaking Loves purpose you exude a powerful inner strength. You
are attractive in the real sense of the word. You begin to radiate a silent kind of
power that speaks of mystery and magic. This is not a power that you own but a
power that you are graced. It is given to you in order to serve the highest good of all.
You might not do anything with this power other than abide within it but you will
have the intention of radiating this Love power into the world. You have the intention
of allowing the will of Love, the will of Heaven to be done through you.
Sometimes this is in fact done through speaking in words but the words come
from the power only available from a deep inner silence within you. This is the work
of the fifth chakra.

With this Brow I Shine Loves Purpose

In Ireland the stories of the people of the shining brow are the stories of the
Tuatha de Danaan the beautiful people who live within the world of time and
beyond time. These are the people who know directly the experience of eternal life.
In the mythical stories of Ireland this is referred to as the Land of the Forever Young.
The shining brow is related to the opening of the third eye. It gives the individual
a very different way of seeing the world. One sees the world not as a combination of
separate things but as a felt experience of Oneness. Out of this felt experienc of
Oneness Love is known to be the force that creates all these separate forms
including yourself but that this state of at-one-ment is who you are. It is this
experience of the sixth chakra that the master Jesus Chirst is referring to when he
says
The Father and I are one. John 10:30
This is a very high state of consciousness represented by sixth chakra balancing

and alignment.

With This Crown I AM Loves Purpose

Words cannot really describe the experience that is the direct knowing of I AM. It
has been called various names including Enlightenment, Satori and The
Breakthrough Experience. It isnt something you achieve. It is given by way of
grace. You cant get it because you already are it. It is only that you have forgotten
who you truly are and the magnificence of who you are.
You are the living and loving paradox of the No-Thing that creates all things
because that No-Thing-Ness is Love itself which you are. This is the experience
called Heaven which you are created to express through your earthly form. That is
the magnificence of the presence within you that you are asked to present to the
world.
This is the gift of the seventh chakra represented by the thousand petal lotus.
The color associated with this chakra is usually violet but also sometimes white
representing spiritual light. This is the light symbolized by the halo seen in paintings
above the heads of saints who are those who have been graced the knowing of
Loves message in its fullest expression through them.

Conclusion
This gives you a very brief overview of the language of chakra balancing and
alignment. This is a language that invites you to journey into a wondrous inner
landscape where you realise the magnificence of the unity of your humanity with
being. This journey has been called the Heros Journey because the words and
language of chakra balancing are only signposts pointing the way. There is no
substitute for direct knowing of Loves message as it is intend to be expressed
through you.
My work in sharing this chakra prayer for balance and healing with you is to
encourage you to trust the inner guide within you that is the message of Love. Love
is an inside job and it knows how to grow you into the boundless radiant experience
that you are here to be. My work is to encourage you to take this journey. In this
regard I will be recording a longer invitation to this language that is Loves message
that will take you more deeply into the invitation inherent within each chakra.
