Dear Sir,
With reference to your above email, we are pleased to submit our offer for
fireproofing

works

using

A:

CAFCO

Fendolite

MII

System

(manufactured by Promat) or Option B: ISOLATEKs Type MII System

for the above project which is designed to achieve 1.5 hrs fire rating for
steel structures. Our offer is detailed as under:JOB SPECIFICATION :1. Procure required materials as specified in below Materials Specification.
2. Prepare steel surfaces as per approved procedure.
3. Remove primer to weld CD Pins & do primer touch ups at spot weld areas.
4. Apply tie coat and install mesh.
5. Spray fireproofing material onto steel structures and equipment until the
desired fireproofing thickness achieved. The steel sections up to and
including 203mmX203mm shall be protected by solid fill method
and others shall be profile.
6. Apply top coat onto sufficiently cured and final surface.

Option B: ISOLATEKs Type MII System:
1. ISOLATEK Type MII.
2. SBK 113 (key coat).
3. Plastic Coated Galvanised Mesh.
4. SS Helical CD Weld Pin for structures only.
5. Top Coat Chemguard 400.
6. Silicone Sealant Tritosil W70 Sealant.
7. SS316L Tie in wire.
OUR SCOPE OF WORK:1. We shall supply all materials including consumables.
2. We shall carryout the job as per above job and materials specifications.
3. We shall provide all the equipments, trained technicians, supervisors, etc.
required to carryout the job.
4. We shall follow all the necessary QA/QC and safety procedures at site and
shall comply with the standard application procedures.

1. Provision of application of compatible primer of steels.
2. Touch up paints for pin welding areas at free of cost.
3. Provision of potable water, 3-phase electricity, material storage, site office
facilities.

4. Provision of materials/equipment loading/unloading/handling facilities etc at

FOC.
5. Compensation for any touch-up / repair of fireproofing works damaged due
to other trade activity.
6. Any approvals required from the local authorities any third party inspection
at FOC.
PRICE :Option A: Promats Fendolite MII System OMR30.000 per sqm.
Option B: ISOLATEKs Type MII System OMR 28.500 per sqm.
OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS :1) The above prices are based on the assumption of continuous hindrance free
work front.
2) All areas shall be measured / re-measure after application.
3) Any idling of manpower and machineries due to non-availability of
work front shall be claimed, the rate for the same shall be agreed
upon at a later stage.
TERMS OF PAYMENT :To be discussed and mutually agreed upon.
VALIDITY :Our offer is valid for 15 days from the date hereof.

COMMENCEMENT:To be mutually discussed and agreed upon after signing of contract.
JOB/CONTRACT ACCEPTANCE :It is mandatory to receive our official job acceptance for any contractual
obligations.
FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE :Standard Force Majeure Clause prevailing in Oman governs our offer.

INSURANCE :Our Employees are covered under Oman Workmen compensation policy
however our quotation for the subject job is based under the presumption that
you have already effected the necessary / exclusive Insurance coverage to the
Machines / Equipment / Structures, etc., for the damage that might occur
during the course of our job execution.
