Bennet Beardsley Know all men by these presents that We Bennett Beardsley and Mary
To Beardsley wife of said Bennett of Oakland county Territory of Michigan in
Calvin C. Parks consideration of one thousand Dollars to us paid by Calvin C. Parks of
said county & Territory the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge do by these pre[sents] give grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said Cal[vin] C. Parks his heirs and assigns a certain parcel of Land
situate in said county & Territory known and described as follows to wit. Being a part of the South west
quarter of section number twenty five Township Number three North of Range ten East Beginning
at a post standing South Eight[y or een?] degrees forty minutes East distance Sixty one [?] from
South East corner of brick house recently e[rec]ted by said Parks Running South Eighty Eight
Degrees thirty five minutes West three chains and Eight Links thence South Eight Degrees East
[?] chains and Twenty Eight links thence South Eighty seven degrees and thirty minutes West
four[ty?] Eight links Thence South fifteen minutes East five chains. Thence South Eighty Eight
degrees East two chains and thirty three links. thence South twenty nine degrees East two chains
and ninety three Links thence South Eighty nine degrees East one chain and sixty seven links
Thence South Two Degrees & five minutes West two chains and three links. Thence North Eighty
six degrees East one chain and Eighty nine links. Thence South four degrees and fifteen links
[sic] minutes West one chain and Eighty three links to the place of beginning Containing two
acres and sixty one hundredths of an acre of Land Together with all the privileges and and [sic]
appurtenances to the said Land in anywise appertaining & belonging To have and to hold the above
granted premises to the said Calvin C. Parks his heirs and assigns to his and their use and behoof
forever and we the said Beardsley and Wife for ourselves our heirs executors and administrators do
covenant with the said Calvin C. Parks his heirs and assigns that we are Lawfully seized in fee of the
afoegranted premises that they are free from all incumbrances that we have good right to sell and convey
the same to the said Calvin C. Parks as aforesaid and that we will and our heirs executors and
administrators shall warrant and Defend the same to the said Calvin C Parks his heirs and assigns
forever against the Lawful demands of all persons. In Testimony where of we have here unto set our
hands and our seals this Eighteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred

Be it remembered that on the Eighteenth day of December in the year one thousand Eight hundred and
thirty five came before me one of the Justices of the peace for the county aforesaid the within named
Bennet Beardsley and Mary his wife known to me to be the persons described in & who have executed
the within Deed and acknowledged that they severally signed sealed and Delivered the said Deed for the
uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said Mary being by me privately examined apart from her
said husband acknowledged she executed the said Deed freely without any fear or compulsion of her
said husband. All which I certify according to Law
