Scroll Saw Sculpture

To make these sculptures stand out I laminated contrasting wood.


I used maple and bubinga. The bubinga is cut into 3/8 strips.
I then use the pattern to decide where I want the strip to intersect
the maple. Notice the board on the right was cut at an angle.
Cut the maple where you want the strip. Glue the three pieces
and clamp. After the glue cures sand ot plane the panel smooth.
Now yu can apply the pattern and make the cuts on the scroll saw.
