The Board of County Commissioners of Lorain County
proposes an increase in the rate of the sales and use tax in the
amount of one quarter of one percent (1/4%) for the purpose of
providing additional general revenues for Lorain County for a
continuing period of time. For at least the first 5 years, the tax
will be distributed for providing additional general revenues of
50% to Lorain County Transit and 50% for general revenues
for Lorain County General Fund.
