Argument from

HOMOSEXUAL PARENTING SHOULD NOT BE LEGAL

This society has been constantly evolving throughout the years. Such
changes may or may not be acceptable to some but at least for the many. To
begin with, I want to stand on the issue of gender awareness or equality, so
to speak. On the recent studies pertaining to homosexuality, I bow and
respect to the rights of those who belong in the so-called third-sex or how
they address it, one way or another. Since the acknowledgement of the
society of the LGBT Community, Its alarming how they steadfast the fight for
their rights, most especially to HOMOSEXUAL PARENTING. Because of this
claim, it just opened opened the Pandoras box. Since then, I firmly stand
that, at any cost, or by all means, it should not be legal.
Derived from the extensive study of Kyle Pruett, Homosexual couples
using in vitro fertilization (IVF) or surrogate mothers deliberately create a
class of children who will live apart from their mother or father. Yale Child
Study Center psychiatrist Kyle Pruett reports that children of IVF often ask
their single or lesbian mothers about their fathers, asking their mothers
questions like the following: Mommy, what did you do with my daddy?" "Can
I write him a letter?" "Has he ever seen me?" "Didn't you like him? Didn't he
like me?" Elizabeth Marquardt reports that children of divorce often report
similar feelings about their non-custodial parent, usually the father. it maybe
deduced from this study that, children clearly shows their hunger for
biological parents. Moreover, existing research on children reared by
homosexuals is not only scientifically flawed and extremely limited but some
of it actually indicates that those children are at increased risk for a variety
of negative outcomes. As shown by Dr. Trayce Hansen, Californias renowed
clinical psychologist, studies find that homosexually parented children are
more likely to experiment sexually, experience sexual confusion, and engage
in homosexual and bisexual behavior themselves. And for those children who
later engage in non-heterosexual behavior, extensive research reveals they
are more likely to suffer from psychiatric disorders, abuse alcohol and drugs,
attempt suicide, experience domestic violence and sexual assault, and are at
increased risk for chronic diseases, AIDS, and shortened life spans.
For this reasons, It also must be expected that if society permits samesex marriage, it also will have to allow other types of non-traditional
marriage. The legal logic is simple: If prohibiting same-sex marriage is
discriminatory, then disallowing polygamous marriage, polyamorous

marriage, or any other marital grouping also will be deemed discriminatory.

In fact, such legal maneuverings have already begun. The emotional and
psychological ramifications of these assorted arrangements on the
developing psyches and sexuality of children would be disastrous.
