Executive Summary
Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 16,639 registered voters across the
United States, with particular focus on the states of Alaska, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina,
and Wisconsin. The poll was conducted from November 3rd through the 6th and has a margin of error of 0.8% at the
95% confidence level for the nation as a whole. The margin of errors for each state are: 4.0% for Alaska (617
respondents), 2.6% for Arizona (1,453 respondents), 2.6% for Colorado (1,378 respondents), 2.2% for Georgia
(2,002 respondents), 2.4% for New York (1,681 respondents), 2.3% for Ohio (1,781 respondents), 2.2% for
Oregon (1,963 respondents), 2.8% for Pennsylvania (1,220 respondents), 2.3% for South Carolina (1,751
respondents), and 2.9% for Wisconsin (1,184 respondents). The total may not round to 100% because of rounding.
The poll was conducted using interactive voice responses and online panels of cell phone users, with the results
weighted by voting patterns. The weighting was only performed on national demographics, not at the state level.
