1. Unit rate bid amount

The undersigned hereby offers to provide all labour, materials, tools and equipment necessary to
complete the
# Ground Improvement/ Piling Works
as required by the documents for the stipulated unit rate bid amount of (Total Tender Amount):
[USD] 2,557,250 (Including Income Tax and Excluding Sales Tax,) (including all applicable
taxes, custom duties, freight, exchange and other charges and fees) for the Project 5303195
KPC II, Karachi, Pakistan.
It is agreed and understood that the Total Tender Amount is the total of the items identified in 2. listed
below and all items shown on and described in the Tender Documents.
In addition to that Bid Form, the Bidders shall fill in all unit rates into the attached BoQs and
submit theses documents completely filled to the sender. Incomplete Bid Forms and not filled
BoQs are subject to rejection!

4. Suspension and idle time

In case the Consortial Partner Work is suspended, subject to extension of time, idleness and
interruptions, the following rates shall apply and be the full and only compensation:

The Subcontractor has in that case to prove to MAN Diesel & Turbo SE that the staff, tools, equipment

just and reasonable action to prevent MAN Diesel & Turbo SE from costs arising out of that
suspension, extension of time, idleness and interruption.

- preparing of a well bearing gravel layer for placment and working plane of
the drilling machinery for the drilling areas
- drilling of piles for all existing soil types at site as discribed in soil

- disposal of drilled earth material, if this can not be used at site for filling
- supply and built-in of reinforcing steel for piles, bar reinforcement, Steel
grade 60 (fy = 4,200 kg/cm2) acc. ASTM A-615 or equal, including up to 0.8
m bar lapping into ground slab
- supply and pooring of concrete (fc cube > 35 MPa = 5250 psi) for drilled
piles
- cutting of weak concrete at top of pile (at least 0.30 m have to be cutted)
