Capsules, over time have globally become the choice of pharmacists aspiring towards superior patient

especially in the above mentioned facets, the utility of capsules has slowly but surely diminished.
The advent of Softgel encapsulation has led to the simplification of liquid drug delivery and has had an
impact on sub-optimal manufacturing yield and even quality. Higher costs have driven down demand for
this dosage form.

The Fluidocap series is offered in various
capacities ranging from a lab model of 1,000
capsules per hour to a high-speed model
offering 60,000 capsules per hour. The

offers Flofit - a two-piece empty hard capsule
that is ideal for filling and band-sealing liquids,
pastes and wax. FlofitTM makes a significant
contribution to the development of efficacious
pharmaceutical products, by providing the
flexibility to rapidly develop and test
formulations in-house. The process can be
scaled-up, yet kept in-house, much similar to
the operations seen in tableting or
powder/pellet filling in hard capsules. In
addition, FlofitTM offers better bioavailability and
enhanced appearance, thereby, improving
patient compliance.

Fluidocap 1000
R&D Scale Filling and Sealing
The Fluidocap 1000 is a semi-automatic machine that
integrates the filling, closing and band sealing processes
in one compact and robust machine. It comes with the
versatility to process a large variety of capsules from sizes
00 to 4 of both HGC and HPMC (Veg) variety of FlofitTM
capsules designed by ACG for the specific application.

Fluidocap Filling
Fluidocap filling machines are easy-to-operate fully
automatic machines for liquid filling of two-piece hard
capsules with formulations ranging in viscosity from 10 cps
to 80,000 cps in medium to large batches. The salient
features allow the machine to fill liquids of varied
characteristics such as free flow liquid, pastes,
suspensions, thixotropic, and hot melts.
