Innovation and change

Reflection on innovation and change


This course change my ideas and thought of the schools and
managements in explicit ways. The school is not just a teacher and
students it is a community that related to each other and it works
when there is cooperative between the stakeholder. The principal can
be the center of school or she/he can make the school is the center of
ideas and stakeholders inspired my creativity and innovations.
Moreover, the leaders are the models of workers that means she
listens to other, encourage them, inspire, and ask for development and
improving. I have linked the data of this course with the practicum
where I have seen these elements in schools and how it works. The
principal meet the teachers, talk to students, give comments and
feedback on everything, she supports teachers by provide resources
and set schedules for meeting to keep up with everything happens in
her school. In Addition, I have learned about the management models,
different leadership styles, how schools should be flexible and set up a
system that can accept changes and new discussions because the
education department is developing day by day. These are many
different between the leadership and styles where everyone has its
own advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion make a
computation between the styles and using them in different situation is
the best to be flexible and accept changes. Also, I have learned that
ideas and responsibility can be shared between the stakeholders to
provide better learning possibilities. Realia is one of the best method in
innovation and change because it meets their life and it gives a better
change that match with their life. However, the authority and
accountability can share the power between the school community to
give more that talk, I mean by that the teachers give the students
knowledge and experiences and students give it back to her by
implementing the learning so she observes and look at the enhancing.
In a general way, the society give the students support and in the
future, they gain the benefits because the children are our future. The
leaders present the authority, so the team tender creativity and their
best. Furthermore, a small scale of change can impact on the actions
and reaction in enormous way. As an example, my professional
development this year makes me realize that small changes can
improve several domains because in education thing are related to

each other. The change is not necessary to be a huge project it can be


simple strategy that affect and effect in strong way. The necessary is to
start thinking for developments and innovation that can makes big
impacts in the teachers, students and community. In contrast, this
course shows me how people sometime can kill ambitious,
achievements by ignoring the modernity methods and using traditional
ways. Some people hate changing and they do not accept them
because they dont want to think.
