ALBANY COUNTY DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE CONDUCTING INTERVIEWS FOR
DEMOCRATIC ELECTIONS COMMISSIONER
On Saturday, November 26, 2016, the Albany County Democratic Committee (ACDC) will be
conducting interviews for the position of Albany County Democratic Elections Commissioner.
Interviews will be held at ACDC headquarters at 10 Colvin Avenue in Albany, New York.
As required under Article VI, Section 3 and Article VIII, Section 1 of the ACDCs bylaws, the interviews
for the position of Democratic Elections Commissioner will be conducted by the ACDCs Candidate
Review Committee. Following the interviews, the Candidate Review Committee will submit a report to
the Executive Committee of the ACDC, which will then make a recommendation at a meeting of the full
ACDC to be held on Monday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Polish Community Center (225
Washington Ave Extension in Albany).
Pursuant to Section 3-204 of the New York State Elections Law, the ACDCs recommendation to the
Albany County Legislature for the position of Democratic Elections Commissioner shall be made in
accordance with the ACDCs bylaws. The ACDCs bylaws require the Candidate Review Committee to
conduct interviews with any candidate for public office recommended by a member of the ACDC.
The position of Albany County Democratic Elections Commissioner has a current annual salary of
$90,094.
Any persons interested in applying and who would like to schedule an interview should submit a resume
and letter of interest to the Candidate Review Committee. Resumes and letters of interest should be
emailed to ACDC Chair Jack Flynn no later than noon on Friday, November 25, 2016, at

democratic process in the governance of Albany County and its municipalities, and to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of all Albany County residents.
