Differing Perspectives

By: Nicole Johnson

CNN and Fox News,

Varying Political Views.

CNN for the Democrats and Liberals alike,

Acknowledged for its receptiveness to change in a political, economic, and societal light;
Striving to make accommodations for those having only known urban life,
Whom are struck with poverty and a loss of opportunity leading to little insight.

Fox News for Republicans and Libertarians of the like,

Considered conservative and pro-faith, thus far right.
Fighting for individual rights,
Which is part of their birthright.
As citizens of the United States of America, a country of great might.

Fox News and CNN alike,

Approached information regarding candidates in a professional way
Even though this caused reporters great dismay,
Especially when covering stories on candidates they disliked.
Alisyon Camerota from the CNN broadcast New Day
Kept a calm disposition as Pastor Davis argued that Trump was right in saying,
African Americans are faring worse than they have ever been.
She calmly provided him with statistics taken from a government owned site,
Which proved him wrong,
But he continued to fight.
CNN is clearly made-up of collective and tolerant individuals of the like.

Reporters from Fox & Friends, a show broadcasted on Fox News

Made sure to applaud Hillary on her ability to keep her cool,
Especially when having faced strenuous questions in past debates,
Which would be difficult for people not running for presidential candidate.

Bias,
This is seen especially on Fox News.
Where snide remarks regarding Hillarys campaign, are constantly being made.
They consider her policies to be almost identical to Trumps, thus making her undependable or
dishonest, close to being fake.
Trump is considered a man of law and order,
Whom has withheld the same policies this whole campaign.
Trump is the best Candidate per Republican debate coaches,
Whom are typically the only guest speakers appearing on their shows.
CNN is biased as well,
Similarly, Democratic guest speakers are the usual,
Telling you whether Trumps speeches are inappropriate or racist in nature.
One of the guest speakers, Mark Preston, says that, Trump doesnt give a clear message.
Prompting you to vote Hillary, who he says, maybe the better choice out of the two.
This shows that news channels persuade your vote through and through.

CNN towards the left,

Fox News towards the right,
Even if one is more preferred, they both offer insight.
You are given two perspectives;
One you may not like.
But ask yourself this,

How do you know youre not wrong and theyre right?
