X Cancel option to be added/enabled in NPATOSTD Menu

Requirement Details:
Presently in our finacle there is no Cancel option in NPATOSTD Menu. So X Cancel
option to be added/enabled in NPATOSTD Menu
Reason for Requirement:
If the menu is run erroneously, there is no option to cancel it. As per dual entry system, the
system should allow the verifying authority to cancel.
Impact if implemented:
Work load reduced in Helpdesk/HO Credit dept.,
Impact if not implemented:
Dependency to HO IT for all Branches to cancel the erroneous entry
Double entry system is not adopted in the MENU NPATOSTD
Business benefit details:
Work load reduced in Helpdesk/HO Credit dept., during closing time.
Erroneous run cases will be filtered at branch level itself.

Transfer of Term deposits/Current accounts to be allowed for Work class 500

Requirement Details:
Presently in our finacle the transfer of Term deposits/Current accounts is not allowed for
Work class 500 through menu ACXFRSOL
Reason for Requirement:
In CBS Environment Branch shall be allowed to freely transfer the Term deposits/Current
accounts to other SOLs after completion of necessary KYC Norms.
Impact if implemented:
Work load reduced in Helpdesk/Deposit dept.,
Impact if not implemented:
Dependency to HO IT for all Branches to cancel the erroneous entry
Customer cannot transfer his account in CBS Environment on timely basis
Business benefit details:
Work load reduced in Helpdesk/HO Credit dept., during closing time.

Interest on Interest flag to be changed automatically to Y for Agri & Gold loan
accounts after one year
Requirement Details:
Presently in our finacle Interest on Interest flag shall be changed to Y for Agri & Gold loan
accounts after one year by branch user manually
Reason for Requirement:
We get the compounded Interest for the respective Agri & Gold loan after the loan Period
Impact if implemented:
Revenue Leakage is detected and reduced
Impact if not implemented:
Manual Dependency will exists for all Branches to modify theconcern flag after every year
If branches donot modify the flag proactively, there is revenue leakage
Business benefit details:
Prompt Compounded Interest application will result in higher income generation from such
loans.
Overdue Interest rate should automatically apply to the Agri & Gold loan accounts
after one year

after one year by branch user manually

Reason for Requirement:
We get the Cheque book charges for the accounts where cheque book charges marked as
N erroneously
Impact if implemented:
Revenue Leakage is detected and reduced
Impact if not implemented:
Manual Dependency will exists for all Branch users to modify the concern flag after cross
checking every account
If branches do not modify the Concern flag proactively, there is revenue leakage
Business benefit details:

Menu to add & Get report of AMC details of all Branch Assets
Requirement Details:
Presently in our finacle no menu or report is available to know the list of assets where AMC
is Available or expired.
Reason for Requirement:
AMC for all the Branch Assets like generator/Fire extinguisher/Cash Counting machine will
be streamlined
Impact if implemented:
AMC Record shall be available for all branch in computerized environment
Impact if not implemented:
Manual Dependency will exists to check AMC Details and it details wont be computerized
If branches do not renew proactively, there is AMC of the particular asset get expired.
Business benefit details:
AMC for All the Branch Assets like generator/Fire extinguisher/Cash Counting machine will
be streamlined.

Report on list of accounts where Debt acknowledgement date is blank

Requirement Details:
Report on list of accounts where Debt acknowledgement date is blank shall be generated
and circulated to zones/branches to get filled up appropriately. Debt acknowledgement date
to be made mandatory requirement for opening new loan accounts.
Reason for Requirement:
List of accounts where Debt acknowledgement date is blank get filled up and L444C data
get streamlined. Presently Debt acknowledgement date field is not mandatory to open loan
accounts
Impact if implemented:
Time barred accounts will be identified in prompt manner
Impact if not implemented:
Manual dependency will exists for branch to check the L444C date in every account
Business benefit details:

All inkjet printers to be modified to LaserJet printers

Requirement Details:
Mostly all branches provided with inkjet printers only
Reason for Requirement:
Inkjet has high operational cost and Laserjet has less

Dependency will exists on one days old GLB

Real time GLB shows the exact position of Assets/Liabilities to take business decision

No term deposit should have auto renewal period as 7 days

Requirement Details:
If auto renewal period is for 7 Days, system doesnt pay interest for such accounts.
Reason for Requirement:
If auto renewal period is for 7 Days, system doesnt pay interest for such accounts.so
customer question the interest part for his term deposit account.

System will pay interest if minimum renewal period is for above 7 Days
