What is Hydraulic Modeling?

Network simulations, which replicate the dynamics of an
existing or proposed system, performed when it is not
practical for the real system to be directly subjected to
experimentation, or for the purpose of evaluating a system
before it is actually built. In addition, for situations in which
water quality is an issue, directly testing a system may be
costly and a potentially hazardous risk to public health.
