Bring these items with you on test day:


A printed copy of this SAT Admission Ticket, which is
required for entry to the test center. Electronic copies are not
allowed.
Acceptable photo identification.
Two No. 2 pencils with soft erasers.
An acceptable calculator (for approved math tests only).

ID documents must meet all of the following requirements:


Be a valid (unexpired) photo identification that is government
issued or issued by the school that you currently attend.
School IDs from the 2015-16 school year are valid through
Dec. 31, 2016.
Be an original document (not photocopied).
Bear your full, legal name that exactly matches the name on
your Admission Ticket, including the order of the names.
Bear a recent, recognizable photograph that clearly matches
both your appearance on test day and the photo on your
Admission Ticket.
Be in good condition, with clearly legible English language text,
and a clearly visible photograph.
If you are in the eighth grade or below and are testing for Talent
Search purposes, a valid Talent Search ID Form is acceptable. In
all other cases you must present an acceptable photo ID.

We recommend that you also bring:


Extra batteries and backup equipment.
A watch that has no audible alarm or communications/
recording capabilities.
Snacks and drinks to have during breaks (which must be
packed away during testing).

IMPORTANT TEST DAY INFORMATION

ADDITIONAL ID REQUIREMENTS
In all of the cases below, only the listed form of ID will be
accepted. There are no exceptions to these policies.

The use of phones and certain other


electronic devices is prohibited in SAT

If you are testing in Ghana, India, Nepal, Nigeria, or


Pakistan, you must present your passport.
If you are testing in Egypt, Korea, Thailand, or Vietnam,
you must present your passport or a government-issued
photo ID from the country in which you are testing. If you
travel to another country to test, you must provide a passport
as identification.
If you are 21 years of age or older, you must present your
valid passport or a government-issued photo ID. Student ID
cards are not valid.

Leave prohibited items at home they are not allowed in the
testing room. Prohibited devices include, but are not limited to:
Electronic equipment including phones of any kind, personal
computing devices, wearable technology, cameras, timers,
audio players/recorders, smartwatches, or any other devices
that can be used to send, receive, or record information.
Any highlighters, rulers, earplugs, dictionaries or other books,
pens or mechanical or colored pencils, pamphlets, or papers
of any kind, including scratch paper.

Your first four score sends are covered by your registration


fee if ordered by phone or online by 11:59 p.m. U.S.
EasternTime on March 20, 2017 .

REGISTRATION CHANGES and CORRECTIONS


Your test center supervisor may, but is not required to, permit you
to drop the optional Essay during check-in on test day if space and
materials allow. You will be refunded the difference in test fees. This
is the only change to your ticket information that can be made on
test day. (Changing from SAT with Essay to SAT will not be subject to
the change fee.)
In all other cases, you will not be admitted to the test center
if the information on this ticket does not exactly match the
registration information on the test center attendance roster.

You can correct your name, sex, or date of birth by calling Customer
Service (not available through your online account).
You can use your online account or call Customer Service to:
Change your photo, high school, or home address.
Change your test center, test date, and test type (from SAT with
Essay to SAT Subject Tests or from SAT with Essay to SAT).
Please have a credit card or PayPal account information (online
only) ready to pay the change fee.

Changes to name, sex, date of birth, or photo must be made by 8 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on March 6, 2017 .
Changes to test type, test center, or test date must be made by 11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on February 28, 2017 .

REFUND POLICIES
If you decide to cancel your test registration, you can request a partial refund of $10 no later than five days before the test date you
registered for. You are also entitled to a refund for any score-reporting services you ordered for a test date you missed. Call SAT
Customer Service for assistance.
