Objectives
My primary objective as an educator is to help students recognize and attain their own
potential. This looks very different from individual to individual but it is my belief that,
regardless of the starting point and/or goal, every student is capable of growth that
should be recognized, encouraged, and ultimately celebrated. I also believe it is crucial
for students basic needs to be met before expecting them to learn. Consequently, I
strive to create a classroom that is welcoming and supportive of students physical,
social, and psychological needs.

Norquest College, Health Care Aide Certification

2011
I began working at St. Therese in April of 2010 after completing a two month hands on
course that prepared me to do my job effectively. After this short hands on course, I was
required to complete Norquest Colleges HCA program before December 2011. Combined
with the hands on learning I had previously completed, this course provided me with the
background knowledge and theories required to excel at my job.
