Overview of the party:
Immigration laws and immigration reforms need to address the needs of national security.
We need to make new immigrants legal
No amnesty
Immigrants who enter this country illegally can not provided with the same benefits that legal
citizens are.
The party believes that amnesty towards those who have broken immigration laws only
encourages future immigrants to enter the country illegally rather than legally
Improve border security (we support building a wall)
No federal funding for sanctuary cities
We need to deport all of the illegal immigrants that are not helping our economy. (drug
cartels, gangs, any criminal history, human trafficking)
Immigrants that support the economy should become legal
Only 32% of our party agree with the strong views that Trump holds for immigration
Overwhelmingly against syria and mideast refugees
The current immigration laws don't protect the rights and interests of american workers
We want immigrants to assimilate to American culture and society so that they are not
isolated
Need system that insures immigrants who enter this country illegally are not provided with
the same benefits that legal citizens are.

immigrants in, rather ones that will do the jobs americans dont want to.
As long as their are thousands of undocumented workers are more likely to fall than use.
A recent Gallup poll found that a large percentage of Republicans would support letting
illegal immigrants become citizens, after a long waiting period, paying back taxes, passing a
criminal background check, and learning English.

Grant amnesty to 2nd generation workers with taxpaying abilities.
Merit based immigration system for those who want to pursue the American Dream
Changes on how ICE is notified about illegal immigrant problems.
Enact PEP a new policy to have better cooperation with ICE.

SAVE Program: The Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program is an
online system designed to help benefit-issuing agencies, institutions, and licensing agencies
determine the immigration status of applicants. The Republican Party not only supports the
SAVE program, but would like to see it implemented nationwide. They also support
immigration status verifications within the workplace, and believe that verification measures
should be made mandatory throughout the country.

Birthright Citizenship: Amend Amendment 14: Change constitution to bar the birthright
citizenship. Amendment 14 states: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and
subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein
they reside. In 2012, at least 4.5 million U.S.-born children lived with at least one
unauthorized parent, according to our analysis. Some 4 million unauthorized immigrant adults

Legal status-Not Citizenship: Illegal immigrants would no longer be subject to deportation
solely because theyre in the country illegally, as long as they are law abiding in other ways.
They would be authorized to work, and have the ability to leave the country. Republicans
would want immigrants to meet certain conditions to qualify for legal status, such as
admitting they entered the country illegally, passing background checks, paying fines and back
taxes, and becoming proficient in English and American civics.
E-Verify: E-Verify is an Internet-based system that allows businesses to determine the
eligibility of their employees to work in the United States. E-Verify is fast, free and easy to use
and its the best way employers can ensure a legal workforce. (E-verify) Under current law,
