"Here are the keys to your new home." These are the words I dream of hearing from a realtor.
Someday in the future I hope to purchase my own home. The first step to buying my own house is to
find a home that suits the needs of my family and I in a beautiful location. The next step is to decide on
how I would like to purchase the house. The final step in the process of buying my own home is to find a
credible and trustworthy realtor.
The first step to reaching my goal of purchasing my own house is to decide on how many
bedrooms and bathrooms I would need in the house. After I decide on the number of rooms that are
suitable for my family I will need to decide on a location. I want to live somewhere with a low crime
rate, somewhere thats not a flood zone and a place with good schools. After I find a home in a good
location I can begin to decide on how I would like to buy it.
Now that I have found the perfect home for my family and I, I need to decide on how I will buy
the house. I have many options such as paying the house off in full, partial payments or a loan. To be
able to pay the house off in full I would need to have enough money in the bank without taking out a
loan or by putting it on a credit card. Another option is to make an agreement or a payment plan with
the bank and the seller of the house on how much I will pay each month until the house is paid off.
Lastly I could take out a loan from the bank. In order for me to receive a loan I will need to have a good
credit score. The people selling the house should know they are selling this house to a responsible
person. My credit score will reassure them that I am a good trustworthy person who will make my
payments on time. After I have established a good credit score I can apply for a loan and later on accept
it.
The last step in purchasing my own home is to find a credible and trustworthy realtor. I would
need to find someone who is honest, trustworthy, motivated and someone who has a lot of experience.
I could go to a few friends and ask them for suggestions on realtors they have had experience with. If I
decide to take a loan out with the bank I could ask the loan agent if he or she has any suggestions on
good realtors.
There are many steps to purchasing a home such as finding one that suits the needs of your
family and you then deciding on how to buy it and lastly searching for a realtor to buy the house
through. Purchasing a house is a long difficult process but hearing the realtor say it's officially your home
makes the entire process worth the wait.
