School.

I loved my elementary school because the teachers were all nice and loving. I loved my 5th grade
teacher because she made sure that I understood the materials.
When it came to High School, I had a difficult time; making sure that I understood the
information. While I was in school I won some awards. I also became prom King for my Senior
Year. After Graduation, in 2013, I started at the College of Southern Idaho and enjoyed all my
courses. Many of my classes were taken place online.
I am a High School Graduate and have enjoyed the experience ever since I graduated
from Carey High School. I know that starting in 7th grade I was all by myself remembering my
assignments and making decisions all by myself. Eleventh grade was a fun time, I checked out
colleges that I might want to attend. Senior year arrived and I was happy and sad at the same
time knowing that this was my last year of High School.
While in school, I attended the Carey Spanish Club which helped me with my Spanish
and with getting used to the culture. We would take trips to different types of culture. Our most
recent trip was to Puerto Rico. Man, I must say, that I couldnt stay there very long because of
the temps.
I was also involved in 4-H for 9 years. When I was taking 4-H I sold pigs every year
because I found that taking care of and selling a pig was easier. I made so many friends, and
made money to help me with college. I was also able to get the 4-H scholarship which is given
by the 4-H Board in our county.

I know that my education has made an influence in my, striving, to become a professional
educator. The Spanish Club helped me become stronger in Spanish and that can help me become
an educator because some children and parents might not speak English. (ESL,ENL teacher).
Work/Service
I worked during the summer as a janitor cleaning Alturus Elementary school for the
Blaine County School District summer crew. It was a fun job; I learned about maintaining a
building while dealing with the way the school runs and working around teachers schedules to
make sure that their room was clean before they came in to get their room set up for the semester.
I also have the privilege of taking care of my aunts dogs during the summer while they are
away. I love her dogs; they are named Cooper and Ryleigh. Every time that the dogs would see
me they would go crazy and would want attention anytime that I was around.
But let me get back on track, talking about my work experience. Others have found me to
be a very trustworthy person because of the time that I put into a task to make sure that the task
is done in a matter that is pleasing to the person of whom I am doing the service for.
I find myself every 2nd Wednesday of each month helping my community bag food for the
families in my community who need it. The Foodbank is one of the major sources of helping the
families in communities. I find that my service and working jobs have helped me become an
educator because the characteristics that an educator has are some of characteristics that I have.
When I am helping with bagging food for others I feel like I am helping a cause that is special to
a bunch of people.
Why Teach?

I first considered education as a career because ever since I was little wanted to become
an elementary teacher and teach little kids. I found education to be beneficial when it comes to
wanting to pursue this specific career. Why did I decide to become a teacher?
When it comes to wanting to pursue a teacher, I followed in the steps of some of my
relatives and family members who are doing the same career.
There are some other careers that I have considered because people think that I would be
good at that career. I agree with them. I will get a minor in Computer Tech/Admin because, even
if I were to get a job as an elementary teacher having a minor as a computer technician would be
awesome and beneficial. I anticipate having rewards that are emotionally positive being an
elementary teacher will make me happy to be a teacher because that kids look up to. I anticipate
rewards beyond belief.
Goals
My one short term goal, is to finish at CSI this semester and apply for graduation. Then I will
transfer my credits to BYUI. By starting this, I will find out how long it will take for me to
complete the degree.
I feel that a goal is something that a person sets aside to accomplish and makes a priority. As
they say, Get er done.
My major long term goal, Continue my education even earning my Bachelors; Even though I
might not make it to the end of becoming what I wanted to become because sometime I willve
to teach my kids the importance of going to school and working hard and doing what they love to
do.

This is like what I said in the previous goal. But let me emphasize it more and bring to
attention. I love attending school and I make it my Goal to get educated in a career that will help
me in the long run.
