having a web enabled system for online registration of AMEs, Online receipt of application for
examinations, Online scheduling of examination dates by the candidates, Online publishing of
results of examinations, Reports generation and view by designated officials of DGCA etc The
scope of the project would be to build a web-based application for the above mentioned
functionalities.
The system is proposed to be designed which would cater for conduct of online examination for
individual modules / papers and migration of existing examination history of candidates by
taking into consideration the credits as per CAR 66. The number of papers / modules for AME
examination proposed to be increased from 16 papers to 40 papers in different categories with
different level of difficulties. It is understood that there will be some eligibility criteria to appear in
these papers of modules that could be based on the AME categories as per CAR 66 like
category A, B1, B2 and category B3 etc.
