This lesson would be taught at the end of a color unit.

Class would start off by reviewing each of the different
color posters out loud as a class that describe how to
spell the color, a song to remember the color, and
examples of objects that are that color that were created
earlier in the unit.
Students will create a Venn Diagram, using the website
Gliffy, based on sorting colors of pictures given to them

1. Click on Google Chrome to open the Internet

2. Click on the search bar at the top of the page and type in the website

www.gliffy.com

3. In the top right corner of the screen, click on the Log in button

4. In the Email Address box type exampleemail@gmail.com

5. In the Password box type example321

6. Click the orange button Log in

7. When asked to Create A New Diagram, Click Venn Diagram

8. In the upper right corner of the screen, click the blue Save button

9. In the box that says Save As type YOUR name into the box
10.Click the bigger blue Save button in the middle of the page

11.In the middle of the top of your screen there is a percentage (%). Click that
button and click on 50%

12.On the left side of the screen click the words Venn Diagram Radial and

Basic Shapes
13.On the left side, click the words Venn Diagram Flat

14.Click and drag a red circle onto the middle of your page

15.Repeat the same thing with a blue, yellow, and green circle

16.Click and drag the blue circle so that it is partly on top of the red circle

17.Click and drag the green circle so that it overlaps the yellow circle

18.Click the blue Save button

19.Click the red circle so that you see the square around the circle

20.Click and drag on the bottom left corner of the square to make the red circle

bigger
21.Repeat the same thing in steps 19 and 20 for the green circle

22.Click the blue circle so that you see the square around the circle
23.Click and drag on the bottom right corner of the square to make the blue

circle bigger
24.Repeat the same thing in steps 22 and 23 for the yellow circle

25.Click the blue Save button

26.In the bottom left corner of the screen click the tab that says Images
27.Click the button that says Select Image to Upload
28.Click MS KAYLIE
29.Double Click the folder that says Ms. Kaylies Class Pictures 2016

30.Double click the folder that says Venn Diagram Pictures

31.Double click one of the pictures. It will then appear as a smaller picture in the
bottom left corner under the search bar

32.Continue step 31 until all 16 pictures show up in the bottom left corner (It is
okay if the pictures look like little squares just make sure you have all 16)

33.Click the blue Save button

34.Click and drag each picture into the appropriate circle by matching the color
of the picture with the color of the circle. You can adjust the size of the
pictures just like we did with the circles by clicking on them until the square
of dots appear and then clicking one of the corners and dragging until it is the
right size for the circle.
35.Continue step 34 until all 16 pictures are placed in the correct circle
36.Once you are finished, click the blue Save button and call me over so I can
check you off my list and then exit and log out of the computer.
