Make sure there are enough hockey sticks and balls for students to use.
Introduction
And Stop (Students will from a circle in center of gym)
Ask who likes hockey, who plays hockey and what teams they
like to watch.

Students will act safely and respect the school equipment.


They will ask questions by raising hands.
Over lunch go to the gym and prepare the equipment that will
be used for class.
Hand out floor hockey sticks to students.

Introduction to how to hold a hockey stick and how to pass a
ball.
Students will get with a partner to practice passing
back and forth to one another.

you like? What did you not like?
Allow students to ask questions or comments. Give a thumbs
up or down if they like playing floor hockey.
Compliment them on their strengths/skills and ability to work
well with others.
Next gym class we will continue to work on passing and end
with a game again.
