Percolation or hydraulic conductivity is defined as the rate of movement of water
through soil. Procedure Take a dry metal cylinder and fill up it with soil sample soak the sample by passing water through until saturated. Set up the soil cylinder in the position as shown in the figure and cover the surface with filter paper.
