"Purpose: The purpose of this role is for scoping, design/architect, delivery and support of various
enterprise IT architectural models using Public / Private / Hybrid Cloud solutions working with latest
technologies to ensure meaningful solutions are tailored and deployed to Mindtrees clientele of small to
large scale.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive the IT Technology plan by taking ownership of mid to long-term roadmap.
2. Design the Enterprise Architecture solutions/provide expert support by closely working with different
teams.
3. Provide Data Center Designs and work on Data Center / Infra migration activities.
4. Provide IT Operational Support for problem management and bring in expert knowledge if required.
5. Building COEs and solutions on Cloud Platform / services to new and as well as existing clients of
Mindtree.
6. Participate in Proof of Concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business
strategy.
7. Design, Build, implementation, & requirement analysis for Data Centers / Cloud Computing / Cloud /
End User Platforms.
8. Architect, Build, implement, test and benchmark the enterprise ready cloud offerings (IaaS).
9. Finding opportunities and mining engagements liaising with pre-sales, vendors and various other
Mindtree internal teams to ensure highest levels of services are delivered to our end users.
10. Conducts end-to-end technical plan design.
11. Develops long-terms strategy for historical data retention and archival plans for storage needs
including backup.
12. Defines data retention policy and backup/recovery methods.
13. Responsible for impact analysis and design modifications to existing systems to support new
solutions.
Required Experience:
1. 8 to 14 years of experience in a Production IT environment architecting and managing enterprise IT
infrastructure in the areas of hardware, hosting services and network.

2. Strong knowledge in few of the Virtualization and Cloud Technologies like VMWare, OpenStack,
Microsoft Azure, AWS etc.
3. Must have a strong knowledge of the Operating System (Windows or Linux), Domain, Active Directory
and its concepts, interaction between Hardware, OS, Network, Storage and Application Software.
4. Deep understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols. Familiarity with DNS, DHCP and other
networking services.

Enterprise Architect Cloud is required to have:

o
13+ years of experience in planning, architectural design and implementation of mission
o

critical application and large data center migrations & transformations.

Experience in defining enterprise cloud strategy, roadmap, standards and leading

practices associated with all aspects of cloud capabilities (compute, data, storage, security, identity &
access, self-service, performance)
Experience in designing and/or implementing an end to end cloud-based solutions (PaaS

PCF, Bluemix or IaaS AWS, AZURE), especially in integrating cloud solutions with on premise
solutions (hybrid cloud)
Experience in solving NFR issues (security, privacy, availability, maintainability, scalability

etc.) in cloud based solutions

Experience in design and implementing high-available, scalable and innovative cloudbased solutions.

Experience in contributing to the development of client proposal (RFx) and presentation

to senior client executives.

Experience in Automation and DevOps consulting Strategy, Roadmap, proof of concept
etc.

o Experience with cloud solutions from AWS services (EC2, VPC), Azure, VMware vCloud Suite, HP
Public Cloud, HP CSA, Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud, and others
o Deep domain expertise in one or more areas: compute, networking, storage, high availability, cloud
security, performance tuning & diagnostics
o Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, PHP, Bash and Python
o Experience with automation tools such as Chef, CFEngine, Ansible, Bcfg2, and/or Puppet
o Experience with container implementations such as Docker, Core OS, Solaris Containers, OpenVZ
o Strong understanding and knowledge of technology trends such as Digital, Mobility and Internet of
Things (IoT)

o Knowledge of relevant SDLC, Agile, ITIL, internal audit, and risk-management standards

Key Roles and Responsibilities :In this position you will be required to:
1. Work closely with the sales team to participate in and proactively drive the presales process with
clients. This may include conducting meetings, writing proposals, proposing solutions and delivering
presentations.
2. Contribute to solution design for the client that will enable achievement of business strategy and client
objectives.
3. Participate in transformational consulting to assist clients in assessing their legacy application estate,
defining the target state application and technology landscape (architecture), and producing the business
case and roadmap to optimise and modernise the architectures.
4. Advice on the change management strategies and programs that will ensure the migration from current

5. Develop and share the best methods, tools and services to ensure the right skills at the right time and

Job Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and architect platforms and software related to cloud, including project management and
strategic planning.
Deep understanding of Business & Process Architecture (High Performance Business Model) of clients
and their optimal mapping to Information and Technology architecture while enabling cloud.
Exposure to Cloud Platforms (e.g SAP/Oracle Cloud Landscape, Cloud Foundry/OpenSHift in PaaS,
Google/MSFT/AWS etc) and/or Leading SaaS (SFDC, Workday etc.) Solutions in the market understanding their roadmaps and high level SWOT analysis
Understand Agile & DevOps, Cloud Security & Cloud Integration
Understand New IT technology and methods that enable cloud deployment - e.g. Design Thinking, AI, IoT
etc.
Understand enterprise architectures and cloud reference architecture
Experience designing service management, orchestration, monitoring and management requirements of
cloud platform
Ability to design cloud-first business process optimization roadmap leveraging technology enablers
(SaaS, PaaS and Cloud Integration)
Architect and coordinate various cloud migration solutions; provide various options for application
implementation, modernization, and rationalization.
Assess the clients environments and prepare the roadmap on the migration to cloud solutions.
Bring in deep understanding of SaaS and PaaS information models (Data Models, Information Flow, and
Integration) and technology architecture elements (Security, Design, Development, Deployment,
Monitoring etc.)
Responsible for driving requirements for integrating cloud capabilities and scenarios supporting the as-aservice model, including cost efficient solution architecture.
Act as a technical liaison between clients, account teams and implementation teams.
Responsible to map and refine industry aligned Client Business and Process Architecture for an optimal
end-to-end Cloud implementation and optimal Business Value
Responsible to manage the reference architecture and facilitate the end to end Technical architecture of a
cloud solution by leading cloud solution architects and SMEs (SaaS, PaaS, iPaaS, Security, etc.)
Responsible to build competency within Cloud SA and SMEs for cross-leveraging Technical and EA skills.
Responsible to provide optimized application portfolio in cloud first approach and roadmap to futurereadiness with Cloud in co-ordination with Migration and Modernization SMEs
