DESCRIPTION

PERFORMANCE FEATURES

SONIC CHAIN OILS are blended to produce a very tacky

product that will adhere extremely well (reducing throw-off and
dripping) to the guide bar and chain of power saws.

APPLICATIONS / SPECS
SONIC CHAIN OILS are recommended for use in the chain
oil reservoir on a majority of modern chain saws. Their tacky
nature and proprietary formulation protect the guide bar and
chain from excessive wear.

Tackiness agents enable the oil to maintain a protective oil

film to lubricate the chain and bar
Anti-wear additives protect against premature wear of the
metal components
Anti-rust protection resists water corroding metal parts.
Provides good flow ability at all temperatures (three weights
are available)

OIL
100, 150, 175*
DESCRIPTION

PERFORMANCE FEATURES

SONIC SAW GUIDE OIL uses a blend of carefully selected

paraffinic base oils and performance additives to protect both
modern and legacy multiblade gangsaws and edgers.

SONIC SAW GUIDE OILS are fortified with tackifiers

enabling them to adhere to critical components and form a
friction reducing film between the blade and guide. This film
resists water washoff and protects the equipment against
abrassive environmental debris and reduces friction generated
tempature increases.

Rust Protection Rust and Corrosion inhibitors assist in

keeping blades cleaner and increasing their usable life
Reduces Pitch Build Up (wood resin) Reducing wood
resin on the blades and guide aid in reducing wear and
maintaining cooler operating temperatures, thus reducing
overall wear
Reduced Oil Fling Tackifiers reduce the amount of
oil throw off the blades generate, resulting in a cleaner,
healthier environment

CONTAINERS

SONIC SAW GUIDE OIL is blended in 2 common grades

(100 and 150).

SONIC NATURAL
(AND L.P.) GAS ENGINE OIL
DESCRIPTION

PERFORMANCE FEATURES

SONIC NATURAL GAS AND L.P. ENGINE OILS, are

designed for most 4-Stroke and some 2-Stroke stationary
Natural Gas engines requiring a low Ash formulation. SONIC
Natural Gas and L.P. engine Oils are formulated with high
quality paraffinic base oils and advanced additive technology
that provides exceptional engine protection. The carefully
selected additive package delivers outstanding resistance to
oxidation, nitration and the ill effects of high heat and extended
operations.

Note: SONIC Natural and L.P. Gas Engine Oil does not meet
the specification for modern mobile gasoline engines that are
converted to L.P. or Natural Gas fuel. For these engines, the
owner manual should be consulted to ensure that qualified oils
are used.

High oxidation stability prevents premature oil thickening

Reduces combustion chamber deposits
Excellent performance in Bearing Corrosion Tests
Technology has been field tested in thousands of stationary

SONIC HEAT TRANSFER

FLUIDS
32, 36, 46, 68
DESCRIPTION

PERFORMANCE FEATURES

SONIC HEAT TRANSFER FLUID is a high-quality line of

mineral heat transfer oils designed for use in closed liquid
phase heat transfer systems, requiring a non-corrosive fluid
with high thermal efficiency. SONIC Heat Transfer Fluids
provide exceptional thermal efficiency and resist thickening
due to oxidation which aide in allowing the system to maintain
exceptional fluid heating and circulation.

Consistent high heat transfer performance over a wide

range of temperatures
Superb thermal stability provides a long service life and
minimal fluid make up
Excellent oxidation stability provides protection against
oxidation degradation caused by operating the system for
extended periods at high temperatures

APPLICATIONS / SPECS

CONTAINERS

SONIC HEAT TRANSFER FLUID is recommended for nonpressurized, closed liquid phase heating systems operating at
a maximum bulk-fluid temperature of 320C.
These systems are typically found in the construction, asphalt,
plastics, timber and metal industries.
