Authorized lead-operator / in-charge shall ensure obtaining and

maintaining valid work permit.
The worksite supervisor responsible for this activity has to check
the PPE of his staff to ensure that all required items are available
and properly used.
Inform all workers regarding permit condition before work starts.
Worksite supervisor shall conduct toolbox talks about nature of
works and associated potential hazards and their essential
precautionary measure.
Safety standby is required
Ensure that the pre task briefing is given out in a language
understood by the work force, have it translated.
Issue required appropriate PPE and replace PPE that has signs of
defect.
Discuss about emergency rescue plan
Explain to address abnormal conditions such as windy weather,
gasoline odor, rainy weather and humidity
Ask question regarding the briefing to get feedback from the staff,
this ensures full comprehension.

Before use, check the load rating of the ladder, to make sure
the ladder can support the combined weight of the user, the
weight of tools, and the weight of any material that will be
placed on the ladder.
This includes the weight of anything that may be supported
by the user.
Ladders must be inspected prior to each use.
Workers using ladders shall not work above the rated working
height. All extension ladders will be tied off at the top.
Another worker will secure the ladder while its being tied off.

Once the worker on the ladder, ensure he hooked to the

pipeline / pipeline beam
Ensure to lift only one ceiling board at time
Work in a group to reduce risk
Reduce additional personnel to reduce risk of ground people
Turn off the flash
Do painting works at ground
Use of gloves while painting, correct PPE as per manufacture data
/ MSDS sheet to be worn.
Workers to be aware of information contained on these
instructions and be available at all times for reference.
Workers to carry paint in small amounts so not to strain or
overbalance while working at heights.
Paint will be in small container to reduce the risk of spills of large
amounts.
Spills to be clean up as per MSDS with water and soap to break
up and disperse.
Place ceiling boards on canvas and paint
Once the ceiling dried completely, install it carefully.
Pack-up all the tools and Barricades Before Leaving The Job
Clear debris From Equipment And job site, Secure All Material
Before Exiting The Job
Remove the masking tape or wrapping
Restore Property To Its Original Condition To The Best Of Your
Ability
