age of three, Josef Lindsay, the lead singer of Table 21, was always involved in performing arts. He firstly attended a stage school where he learnt different types of dance, singing, and acting. Initially he wasnt so keen on singing and dancing but he loved the acting side, giving him roles in multiple TV adverts, programmes, and films. He was also invited to do many radio shows on with the BBC on Radio 4. This made him determined to carry on acting, however he found it very hard to carry on acting whilst achieving his full potential in school. As his GCSE exams approached, Josef knew he had spent too much time on acting jobs and not independent study. So, he decided to carry on with singing and dancing, but not acting as the jobs were taking up too much of his time. This is when Josef really started to enjoy singing. So, in October 2014, Josef met up with a friend from his stage school, who played the bass guitar.

Together, they started writing songs but they realised
they needed a drummer. Josef knew his best mate, a very talented drummer, would be up for it and they all formed a band. But, they still felt they were missing something, and as Josef was a rhythm guitarist, they needed a lead guitarist. After a few people said they would do it, but didnt turn up, Josef phoned an old friend. Now the band were sorted. They practised for months receiving multiple complaints from the neighbours but they carried on until the songs were perfect. They mostly covered songs but when their first big gig was offered to them in June they started writing songs. Josef wrote most of the songs, expressing his struggles in life along with the happy moments. The band were upset after the gig. It was meant to be a warm day but it rained, they thought they would get all the songs right but they made a few mistakes and they thought the audience was going to be larger than 30 peo-
ple. But it was a start. In
fact, that night a man got in contact with them after hearing them play. He was only 19 or 20 at the time but he had faith in them. He owned a radio show and featured them on it a few times and after he got them a few more gigs he became their manager. Their first successful gig was at a local bar where more than one hundred people turned up into a compact room where they were playing. Everybody was dancing and there were even a few mosh pits. It was the bands best gig ever.

After this, the band continued rehearsing, writing
songs, gigging, and performing on different local radios. Soon they will be releasing an EP with all their originals. Their views and followers on social media are quickly increasing by the minute and after all the rehearsals and practice, the band has gone from a bit of fun to national fame.
