These 39 events resulted in $9.9 million economic impact

Generated 10,000 + room nights off of these meetings

Visit Kingsport will support and host 26 events in 2016


20 events have been hosted through the end of July with an economic
impact of $25 Million. 6 events remaining in 4th quarter.
Donated $24,000 in proceeds to the Kingsport City Schools athletic
programs.

Played 30 NAIA games in 2016, 26 youth tournament games, 10 High


School games, 5 Middle School games, 33 Mets home games
Entered into a 5 year extension with the Kingsport Mets, 2016-2020
seasons.
Completed addition of new clubhouse space.

2017 Outlook

Continue to host events in traditionally slower times: February, July 4th,


Thanksgiving, etc.
Expecting to host 25-30 events in 2017, generating an economic impact
of an estimated $30 Million
Seating project at Hunter Wright Stadium, new chair back seats and
creating walkway/concourse area. Scheduled for completion by March
1, 2017.
