San Antonio, TX, January 14, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Mumme's feed and grain store located on 281 just north
of Marshall Road has officially closed for business. It has been confirmed that the new owners have
already begun construction on a family friendly entertainment and retail complex called Buck and Doe's
Mercantile. The revamped complex includes an indoor gun range, indoor archery range, gun sales and
supplies, a women's boutique, as well as the main store renovation, which will continue to offer farm and
ranch items. The shopping experience will be greatly expanded to include high-end lifestyle brands in the
hunting and ranch variety, as well as jewelry, jeans, gifts, and more within the boutique.
Although there are a few public gun ranges in San Antonio, there are no indoor ranges in the northern
area of Bexar County. Hunters and ranchers in the area have had to travel south or wait to sight in their
rifles on their own ranches or leases. Archery is a growing sport, and there are few locations in the San
Antonio area that currently provides an indoor, climate controlled facility for children and adults.
Plans for the ranges include instructors to provide lessons to shooters of all ages as well as a proposed 4H
club practice location. Construction has already begun, and Buck and Doe's is set to open in the summer
of 2017.
