Child Protection Reflections

These reflections have been put together to support settings with their duty to safeguard and protect children in their care. They are
also helpful to use within the recruitment process as well as induction, staff meetings, training and supervisions.
Its important to link these questions to your settings values/ethos and cross reference to national legislation and guidance and,
importantly, your local authority systems and process.
This is not to be used as a check list and the idea is to aid reflection and discussion on wider issues around safeguarding and child protection.
There are separate questions for setting leaders and for staff.
