Seminar Highlights :
1. Fifty Seven (57) participants attended the seminar however, Eight (8) participants didnt
complete the two (2) day - seminar. Their names are highlighted in the attached
attendance sheet.
2. Mrs. Zarah Ugren M. Javier, Manager of Christian Community MPC led the prayer on
the 1st day of the seminar.
3. Mrs. Celia M. Casumbal introduced the participants from the following cooperatives in
Lipa as follows:
San Lucas MPC, Duhatan MPC, Bulaklakan MPC, Halang
Credit Coop, Papayahan MPC, Malitlit Cons. Coop, Lipa City Parish MPC, EL
Zion MPC, San Roque Tipakan MPC, LIMCOMA MPC, SANGKAP MPC,
Batangas Family Farm MPC, LIMCOMA Employees MPC, Lipa City Community
Credit Cooperative, Lipa City Night Market MPC, LCC Employees MPC,
Christian Community MPC, PLaridel MPC, LESEMPCO, Buklod ng Cumba
MPC, Mary Mediatrix Medical Center MPC, BAREMCOOP and Lipa City
District Hospital MPC.
4. City Cooperative Officer , Ms. Divina O. Simangan, welcomed all participants.
5. City Administrator Atty. Glen Mendoza delivered his message.
6. Mrs. Celia M. Casumbal then introduced the resource persons from Land Bank of the
Philippines, Region IV.
A. Mr. Glenn R. Aguda Head, LBP DAC IV discussed the following topics during
the 1st day Credit Process Flow, Account Management, Credit Initiation, Credit
Evaluation/Risk Assessment and Credit Investigation.
B. Mr. Ramil R. Ocampo Appraiser, LBP Region IV discussed Appraisal.
C. Ms. Jonacel Joy R. Pasia AMA, LBP Region IV Lipa City discussed Packaging
of the Credit Facility, Documentation of Approved Facility and Disbursement.
D. On the 2nd day the Recapitulation was made by Mr. Domingo Marasigan,
Chairperson of San Lucas MPC and Ms. Rosal Rocafort, Manager of Halang
Credit Cooperative.
E. Ms. Perla M. Montano AMS, LBP Region IV, Lipa City discussed the following
topics; Credit Administration, Loan Supervision and Collection System, Danger
Signs and Loan Clasification and Strengthening Credit.
F. Mr. Glen Aguda discussed the Remedial Management, Major Causes of
Distressed Accounts, Negotiation Guidelines, Remedial Measure and Repayment
Arrangement and other Remedy.
G. Mr. Edison P. Malabanan, ROPA Specialist, Region IV Lipa City discussed the
topic Foreclosure and Redemption, Litigation and Strategies.

7. The participants were asked to fill up the Post Training Evaluation Form and the result is

I. COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS:


1. Thanks for conducting this seminar to the cooperative. It is a valuable tool for the
improvement of all cooperatives.
2. Topics were clearly discussed.
3. Very good seminar and more knowledge have gained.
4. Best choice of speakers. Hoping for more trainings. Topics are very informative. The
resource speakers were requested for the next seminar.
5. To conduct another seminar for the Audit and Inventory Committee members.
6. Strongly recommended a long training duration.
7. Technical terms were not discussed broadly because time allotted is too short.
8. The training was very educational and could be recommended to other coops.

IMPRESSIONS:
Some of the participants were asked to give impressions on the seminar. Mercy
Banaag, manager of Batangas Family Farm MPC mentioned that the topics were
interesting, the inputs were all very important, the speakers were good. She realized that
they have many things to do. She thanked LBP and CCO.
Mr. Fernando Magpantay, manager of Lodlod Parish MPC said that their
knowledge are not enough. He mentioned that they gained more knowledge in coop
Account Management. He emphasized that the coop accounts should be managed
correctly from the start and realized that the coop officers should practice professionalism
in rendering their services. To top it all, the seminar is very successful.
The participants were awarded with the certificate of participation. The closing
prayer was led by Mr. Domingo Marasigan, chairperson of San Lucas MPC.
