Invitation to Submit a Letter of Intent


Dear Donald Trump,
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to submit a letter of
intent on Leasing Out Space for Food Stall at our University. As part of
our non-academic income activity, we would like to open Stalls for
Lease. Qualified Tenants will be announced three (3) months from this
date.
Our company was inaugurated in the year 2000 and has seen
considerable growth since then even in the face of tough competition.
In 2017, we intend to open up other income generating plan in
comparison to the other universities. As this plan is beneficial, we
believe that this will serve our purpose quite well.

Lease Period
(March 1, 2017 March 1, 2018) with the option to extend for a
total duration of up to fifty (50) years.
Chartered State University is in need of tenants who will lease food
stalls and must adhere to the following criteria listed below:
-

monthly rental fee inclusive of maintenance fees, utilities to

be paid in Php currency


offerors must be willing to pay via post dated checks

Terms and Conditions


1. Payment shall be strictly made on a monthly basis by way of
post-dated checks.
2. The bidders initial bid should contain the bidders best offer.
3. Discussions with bidders following the receipt of a bid does
not constitute a rejection or counter offer by the company.
4. The company will hold submission as confidential and shall
not be disclosed to third persons.
5. Proposed contracts must include an early termination clause
that provides at least thirty (30) days notice and full refund of
any advance rent payments.

6. A clause applying the security deposit to the payment for the


last months rent should be included in the proposed contract.
Evaluation of Bids
The company intends to make an aware to the responsible offer or
based on the following evaluation factors:
a) Proximity to stated location and space conditions 20%
b) Compliance with security, space planning and
administration requirements 40 %
c) Offer Price 40%
The company intends to evaluate offerors proposals in accordance
with these factors and make an award to the responsible offer to
whose proposal is most advantageous to the program.
Obligations:
Issuance of this Procurement Invitation does not constitute an award,
commitment on the part of the company nor does it commit the
company to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of
the proposal.

Dear Mr. Trump,
We are pleased to inform you, that your offer for the Lease of Space
for the Operation of Food Shop/Canteen has been found acceptable
and advantageous to the university, hence the contract for lease of the
aforementioned space is hereby awarded to you for 204,000 pesos per
year or 12,000 pesos per month via post dated checks payable to our
company.
The following are preconditions to the approval of contract, which
should be made within fifteen (15) calendar days upon receipt of this
notice:
1. Payments of deposit equivalent to three (3) months rental
upon signing of the contract and;
2. Posting of performance bond are in the form of CASH for the
amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the annual contract
price or in the form of security bond issued by the GSIS
equivalent to the thirty percent (30%) of the annual contract
price.
If the above conditions are acceptable to you, please indicate your
acceptance on the space provided below.
