We intend to use this newsletter in the future to inform you of
all the interesting new developments in the ERP Practice at
ITC Infotech. Along with news from the development team,
the newsletter will include information on forthcoming events,
training and development programs that happened in the
quarter, insights on advanced and innovative technologies
along with recreational content to keep you engaged.

INFODAY 2015 @ ITC INFOTECH


ITC Infotech, in collaboration with SAP labs, organized
SAP Analytics Partner Infoday 2015 event at ITC
Infotech campus, Bangalore on 3rd July 2015. SAP
shared exciting news around new capabilities,
supported scenarios and new editions of their future
visualization tools - SAP Lumira, Predictive Analytics &
Design Studio.
SAP Product Managers from India, Canada & France
were hosted by the SAP Practice.

ITC Infotech took this opportunity to showcase the product


extensions on SAP Lumira and Design Studio which were
developed as a part of the program.
Key contributors to the event from the SAP BI team

ITC INFOTECH PARTICIPATES IN SAPPHIRE


NOW 2015 RUN SIMPLE
SAPPHIRE NOW is a comprehensive business &
technology event organized by SAP and ASUG (American
SAP User Group) in Orlando with Run Simple as the theme
for the current year.
The Conference provided a platform for professionals from
varied industries to come together and share ideas, insights
and perspectives for mutual benefit. SAPPHIRE had
business leaders, domain experts and technology gurus
from different SAP customers, partners & SAP, reflecting on
issues and creating interest for all. A number of discussions
and presentations by industry leaders across three days
enabled the participants and the audience to gain
meaningful insights on latest happenings in the SAP domain. In addition, there was an exclusive Exhibition Zone
in the venue to showcase solutions and services from SAP and its partners.

ITC Infotech had a booth at SAPPHIRE- showcasing the following solutions:

Analytics on SAP HANA & SAP Control Tower, including BPC

Mobility for transforming businesses using SMP and Fiori

RDS on CEI and PA

SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM) including SAP Integrated Business Planning & Demand Network
Our team got a sense of trends & competitive positioning along with an opportunity to network with sponsors
from the ISV, clients and prospects. It also helped raise the visibility of our GTM solutions.

ITC Infotech had focused client meetings, promising leads, interactions with SAP sponsors & info sharing sessions

Meeting with Senior SAP Consulting and Channel Teams on our updates and commitment to work with the
SAP channel

Meeting with the Rapid Deployment Solution group on possible opportunities around our CEI & PA RDSs
and new RDS components that we can co-develop with them

With SAP Consulting, the next step would be to showcase our specific solutions and capabilities to the SAP
Account Executives and Client Partners so that they could position us with future potential clients

Abhishek, Deepanjan Roy and H Rao participated in the event from the Marketing, Inside Sales and Sales
teams.

ITC INFOTECHS FIRST TIME IN SAP BEST PRACTICES COUNCIL


ITC Infotech for the first time was invited by SAP to be a part of the SAP Best Practices event held on
9th and 10th of July 2015. This event is a platform provided by SAP for select SAP Partners to discuss on the Best
Practices developments by SAP and engage partners in this.
This event was attended by Shankar Ramamurthy, Christy Magesh, Nitika Bali, Nagabharath Reddy Chintala,
Rajeshkumar R, Chandramouli R and Mahalakshmi Niranjan from our practice. In this event SAP presented the
roadmap for S/4 HANA and sought feedback from the partners. SAP also created a show floor to showcase the
products to all the partners involved.
SAP also presented the solution packaging to the partners thus reducing the entry barriers to partners compared
to RDS enablement. They requested the partners to actively participate in the solution packaging and will now
make their tools available to partners for the same.

ITC INFOTECH IN PARTNERSHIP WITH RAMCO


ITC Infotech entered into 'Seed Partnership' with RAMCO in the HCM and MRO spaces. Teams formed for the two
streams are undergoing product training. RAMCO specializes in providing enterprise solutions on Cloud and for
Human Capital Management and the Aviation industry.

MBA CAMPUS BATCH JOINS THE ERP PRACTICE


In order to build capability in various niche areas, eight MBA Campus resources have been recruited in the
month of May. These recruits are being exposed to various departments in the ERP space as below:

Neeraj Saini is currently undergoing training in the SAP FICO domain.

Hemant Gharde has been handed over the responsibility of Delivery Management.

Nitish Bajaj has been given the responsibility of Project Management.

Bimal Rebba and Manish Sarkar have been deployed in the SAP SCM-APO capability.

Abhishek Jain, Shivam Arora & Dreema H Baherwani are a part of the ERP Presales team.

NEW WINS IN THE PRACTICE

Altegrity AMS ArcelorMittal - Batch Management


The Altegrity portfolio of companies comprises an ArcelorMittal, a global metals and mining company
array of market-leading brands specializing in risk has embarked on automating its processes related
solutions, security, e-discovery, data recovery and to its production and warehouse operations at
employment screening. This project is a KT and AMS ArcelorMittal - Zenica in Bosnia. ITC Infotech is
support project for a duration of three years. helping ArcelorMittal with Batch Management
implementation along with Native windows
application solution for HHT device.

Virtustream Qatar Chemicals


This is a one year long SAP Basis support project. Qatar Chemical Company Ltd. is a joint venture

CAMPUS BATCH TRAINING SAP OVERVIEW


Adhering to the principles of employee development, a training program was conducted to give an
overview of SAP and its modules to the campus recruits. It was held from 18th May to 5th of June 2015
at ITC Infotech, Bangalore Campus. This training program enlightened the batch with deep insights on
the SAP ERP practice at ITC Infotech, thus making their induction seamless.

NEW DELIVERY INITIATIVES


The ERP Practice at ITC Infotech is building capability and the following are some of the key initiatives as
a part of this change:
Creation of KM portal covering all the major technologies like SAP, RAMCO, Dynamics-Ax, Ariba,
Success factors and Oracle
Development of a Training Policy and Plan wherein we would be engaging internal resources to
conduct trainings. The trainings could also be outsourced. KRAs and career planning shall be made for
the resources identified to conduct trainings
Identification of Project Artefacts and creation of project templates to be utilized across implementation
and support projects
Focus on Project Case Studies to be created by Project Manager in consultation with the Delivery
Manager after Project Go-Live
Creation of artefacts highlighting the SAP Best Practices adopted across business processes
implemented in a project. Onus will be on the Leads and Project Manager to develop such artefacts
after Project Go-Live
34 members added in this quarter to the 300+ strong ERP family.

Ansell AMS delivery


Ansell EMEA implemented SAP in 2014. ITC Infotech took over the Ansell SAP Industrial business support
from a French implementing partner with effect from January 2015 with a small team of 5 consultants
comprising of FI, MM, SD, PI and ABAP experts. We also had a number of knowledge transition sessions at
Brussels for 45 days.
The support project has been steady with the management being satisfied with the teams performance.
We handle L2, L3, L4 tickets, change requests and enhancements.
Future plans for the team and ITC involve takeover of the medical business unit support in September
followed by implementation of Ansell Industrial and Medical solutions for Ansell Australia and New Zealand
starting from November 2015 with an extended team.

collaboration with ITC Infotech, at our Bangalore campus on 3rd July 2015.
SAP commended the work done by ITC Infotech and specifically appreciated Surya's
effort & technical skills. Surya not only picked up quickly on SAP environment but also
delivered on-time, enabling us to go ahead with the Infoday event.
