2.2MakilingBanahaw(MakBan),Laguna
TheMakBanfieldislocatedabout70kmsouthofManilainthe
Laguna Province of Luzon Island and is also operated by PGI
(Figure 1). It is a mature geothermal field having been in
commercialproduction since 1979. Although currently second in
thePhilippinestotheGreaterTongonanfieldintermsofinstalled
capacity, MakBan leads all Philippine fields in terms of total
lifetimegenerationwithmorethan51,455GWh(Table4).

2.3Tongonan,Leyte
