Plan and personally train staff & public safety officers on active shooter response protocols. Plan for and execute
yearly active shooter drills in conjunction with Passaic County, NJ Sheriff Department achieving a high state of
preparedness.
Plan and authored Situation Manual and implement hostage taking tabletop exercise for upper management and outside
agencies. Successfully complete the drill with after action report.
Updated and maintained three unique emergency operations plans specific to needs of all stakeholders at Passaic
County Community College.

Security Manager
Manage and protect MTA employees, revenue, and property by planning, administering and implementing security video and traffic
monitoring technologies for seven bridges and two tunnels. Co-manage staff of 30 in-house technicians on multiple projects with
competing priorities including security system upgrades, biometrics, and contractual performance by vendors, procurement, internal
control testing, and database management. Chaired Security Department Liaison Committee to enhance bridge and tunnel security.
As team project, achieved 2003 goal of installing 21 cameras at six bridges for MTA B & T President. Surveyed potential camera
locations, assigned crews to installation activities, and followed up to ensure accuracy of results.
Collaborated with security managers from MTA Transit Division regarding the construction a new revenue center in Queens.
Directed in-house technicians in installation and maintenance of 1500 CCTV cameras, digital recording systems, intrusion alarms,

force. Partner with multiple departments to include Human Resources and Quality Control to safeguard inventory.
Secure exterior building compound areas by limiting vehicle access to docks to ensure only authorized drivers enter. Perform
random audits of incoming vendor freight to ensure actual product totals matched bills of lading.
Conducted over the road surveillances of employee drivers to ensure delivery route was not compromised, and author an audit
policy to allow for unannounced spot checks of drivers while in transit to stores.
Investigated and followed up on claims of delivery shortages at store level. Partner with distribution center operations management

Acted as liaison to security vendors. Purchased an electronic access control system for W. Nyack executive and support offices and

Investigated employee theft from the distribution centers, develop case documents, and recommended termination of those violating
policy to Human Resource Department, which resulted in approximately 60 terminations (W. Nyack).
Co-chair safety committee at W. Nyack location to ensure a safe environment for employees. Assist by establishing an emergency
response team of volunteer employees trained in first aid and primary response to accidents with distribution center.
Present plan to upper management allowing a loss prevention spot check program using hand held metal detectors to prevent
pilferage. Plan accepted and implemented in W. Nyack location.
