Audition Packet

Ragtime. The show will go up week 6 of Spring Quarter: May


Thank you for your interest in BLACKstages

12th, 13th, & 14th. BLACKstage encourages people of all experience levels, backgrounds, ethnicities,
sexual orientations, socioeconomic statuses, body types, and genders to audition!

First round auditions will be held in ten minute slots from Monday, January 9th - Wednesday, January 11th,
2017 in Memorial Auditorium room 129.

Please arrive five - ten minutes before your appointed audition slot with the attached form filled out.

For the audition, please prepare a one minute song to be sung a capella. This song selection should be
pop or Broadway and should show off your range and vocal talent. Please do not come prepared to sing a
song from Ragtime.

Callbacks will be held on Thursday, January 12th & Friday, January 13th, 2017. Callbacks will be
emailed out on Wednesday night.

Rehearsals will begin in Winter Quarter. Rehearsals are Monday through Thursday evenings, and Sunday
afternoons. Everyone in the cast is required to help build the set and complete a certain number of Build
Hours. You may also be required to do some TSF hours. If you are cast in Ragtime, you are expected to
make the show your top priority for Winter and Spring Quarter.
