fixed w.e.f. 01.04.2016 to 31.03.2017 (both days inclusive).

NOTE:
1 Apart from the above rates the Judgment passed by the Hon'ble Punjab and
Haryana High Court, Chandigarh in CWP No.17850-C of 1999 and subsequent
directions issued by the Govt. oflndia, Ministry ofHome Alfairs, New Dclhi vide
D.O Letter No. U 13028/39/2000-CHD. Vol-11., dated 22lll/01 to pay the salaq'
at the minimum of the pay Scale with allowance may also be implemented where
applicable.

Persons employed on monthly basis be paid monthly wages as fixed above

irrespective of the holidays.

3 Persons employed on per day basis should be paid only rates as fixed above with
weekly rest.

4 These rates are applicable to all Govemment Offices. Boards and Corporations
located at Chandigarh.

5 Thc above rates are the minimum prescribed D.C. Rates/Based upon the pay rales
of regular posts, however dcpending upon the duty hours and tough nature of
duty, Departments institutions can decide additional wages, perks/facililies at their
own level.
