Ice-breaking

Procedure
Preparation: Print and cut the word strips in Appendix 1. Prepare enough
set for your group prior to the activity.

1. Pass around a box filled with the word strips to CPs.


2. Ask the CPs to pick one word strip from the box and pass the box to
the next person.
3. Inform CPs that they have to
introduce themselves
state their role and institution/school
explain the word that they have picked up to others in one
sentence.
4. Write the words mentioned by the CPs on the whiteboard.
5. Highlight how these words relate to HIP. The following are the
suggested questions to probe response from the CPs.
How do these words relate to you?
How do these words contribute to Highly Immersive
Programme (HIP)?
What outcome do we want to see?
6. Conclude the activity by highlighting that these words are some of
the important words related to HIP that the CPs will encounter
throughout the orientation workshop.
