Dear Owners:

The Franklin County Tourist Development Council is attempting to obtain

information about the impact of the Oil Spill on tourism, in general in Franklin
County, and lodging companies, specifically. Our goal is to begin to measure the
impact of the spill and try to determine the success of advertising and promotional
efforts that the FCTDC has put in place in response to the spill.

The following is a brief survey that is designed to obtain the most general of
information that would be useful. We would ask that you complete this survey and
return it to me as soon as you can. We are not looking for information that should
require any great amount of research beyond what you already do for your
company. All the responses will be held in confidence and only reported in
summary form for the industry in general.
