ASMDR (ALL STATION MESSAGE DETAILED RECORDING)

This feature is activated when ASMDR card is installed and Console-N is connected to the system. It gives
output through the Parallel Port connector provided on the side panel of the EPABX. In case data is to be
recorded on computer then use a Dual-Converter to convert the Parallel output into serial output, which is
then connected to the Serial Port of the computer.
The ASMDR card can be configured to operate in On Line mode or Off Line mode. In On line mode the
output of the data of call made is given by the EPABX to the printer as soon as a call is completed by an
extension. In case of Off Line mode the details of the calls made are stored by the EPABX. (Upto 3000
calls optional) and printout can be taken extension wise or for all the calls. Select the desired mode of
operation through the following programming:

OPTION TO PROGRAM ASMDR FOR ON LINE PRINTING OR OFF LINE PRINTING:

SET F1 5444 ENT To open ASMDR for programming.
SET F1 8067270X ENT (X = 0, for Off line printing and X = 1 for On Line printing)
SET F1 5445 ENT To lock ASMDR programming
Default: Off Line Mode

It is recommended to wash out the complete memory of the ASMDR before starting the system for the first
time or whenever the card is changed/reinstalled, as explained below:

Keep Pin No. 3 of SW2 (8-Pin DIP Switch) in ON position of ASMDR card.
Press switch (SW1) of ASMDR card. The printer will print HARD RESET
After sometime printer will print Memory check OK. If Memory Check OK message is not received,
contact the company before proceeding further.

TABLE 00
Table 00 refers to the first digit being dialled by any extension. For example, if an extension dials 8 then it
gets connected to an `Incoming Junction Call because the value at location 08 of table 00 is - 001, which is
the Software Code (Refer Software Codes) for the said feature. Similarly if the first digit dialled is 2 then the
CPU of the EPABX will jump to table 03 for scanning the second digit dialled.

NOTE: Values from 003 to 049 stand for table numbers 03 to 49.
: On pressing Key, the scanning shifts to table 14 and by pressing # memory dialling feature
is availed.

TABLE 01, 46, 47 & 48

These tables are referred only while dialling out on Junction lines. The locations 02 to 09 of these table refer
the first digit dialled on Junction line. The values on these locations refer to the `Class of Service'that is
allowed to dial out. If the Class of Service of extension is greater than or equal to the value then dialling is
allowed. For example - If an extension dials 6 as the first digit on Junction line and its Class of Service is 3
then dialling will not be allowed because 3 is less than the value (004) entered at location 06.

If the first digit dialled on Junction line is 0 then the scanning will jump to table 48, which also refers `Class of
Service'similar to table 01 explained above.
On dialling `1 as the first digit on Junction line, the scanning will jump to table 47 which also refers to
restriction on Junction dialling by referring to `Class of Service'and comparing with values entered in this
table with the preset value shown in tables. An extension with Class of Service = 2 can dial all telephone
numbers except for the telephone number starting with 6.
After dialling `1, if the second digit is 0 then table 46 is referred to control dialling with comparison to class of
service.

TABLE 02 & 49
Table 02 refers to number of digit that are allowed to be dialled on Junction line.
As per the values shown in table, EPABX will allow only 3 digits dialling for telephone numbers starting with 1
and 7 digits if the telephone number start with 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 or 9.

On dialling 0 as the first digit, table 49 will be referred which also controls number of digits similar to table 02
explained above. Values in table 49 can be increased upto 023 for allowing upto 23 digit dialling. Value
above 23 will mean to refer another table. If values are 0, 50 or above, then the referred figure will be
restricted.

TABLE 03 TO 13
On dialling 2 as the first digit, the scanning shifts to table 03. From table 03 it shifts to other tables as per the
values entered and shown in tables. Table Numbers 3 to 13 are used for Extension numbering. By changing
these tables flexible numbering can be done.

FLEXIBLE NUMBERING
Table 04 to 13 has values corresponding to extension numbers from 100 to 195. For example - On dialling
202, extension 102 rings. So 102 corresponds to 202. Similarly other numbers correspond to 200 to 295.
The extension numbers can be changed to any desired number and number of digits by changing the values
in these table location by programming to achieve the desired flexible extension numbers.

TABLE 16 TO 45
Tables 16 to 45 are free and can be used for flexible numbering or any other use. Before using any of these
Tables, Table 16 should be used first to delete the values 255. After the last table, enter 255 at all location of
the table next to last table.

TABLE 14 & 15
Table 14 is referred on dialling as the first digit and on dialling again table 15 is being referred because in
Table 14 the value of is 015.
Table 15 refers to various features. The corresponding feature of each code entered in this table can be
located in Software codes table.

ROUND ROBIN RING

This ring assignment is applicable only if the EPABX system is bought with KTS console.

PROCEDURE
d) Open the software switch
SET-F1-999 5268401-Ent

e) Enter Round Robin password

SET- F1- 55384533 XX- ENT

f) Enter extension number, which is to ring in Round Robin

SET- F1- 5537 XX YYYY ENT
where, XX = Junction line number and YYYY = Extension in 4 digit i.e., 0201, 0202 . . . . . . . . . .

This programming is to be carried out for all 8 extensions in sequence where first 4 extensions specify day
mode ringing extensions and next 4 extensions specify night mode ringing extensions. If less than 8
extensions are to be used in Round Robin then repeat the extension in sequence of repetitions required. All
8 locations must be filled.

For eg: if Junction Line 01 is to be programmed for extension 201 & 202 in day mode and for extension 201,
202, 203, 204 in night mode then-

SET F1 5538 45 3301 ENT

SET F1 5537 01 0201 ENT
SET F1 5537 01 0202 ENT Day Mode.
SET F1 5537 01 0201 ENT
SET F1 5537 01 0202 ENT

SET F1 5537 01 0201 ENT

SET F1 5537 01 0202 ENT
SET F1 5537 01 0203 ENT Night Mode.
SET F1 5537 01 0204 ENT
The extensions will ring in sequence of the above programming.
SOFTWARE CODES
Following features can be given any code for operation from extension. To make the following features
operational, their corresponding software code has to be programmed in `Programming Tables'. Though
most of these features have been pre-programmed in the `Programming Tables'yet their location can be
changed for desired code of operation.

For example
001 is the `Software Code'for receiving incoming junction calls. This code is pre-programmed in Table 00 at
digit 8. So, on dialling 8 from any extension, one can pick incoming Junction call. If the same code (001) is
programmed in Table 00 at digit 5 then the incoming Junction calls can be picked by dialling 5.

(For table locations refer programming Tables)
