1. Introduction of SRB

1.1 Purpose

The purpose of the document is to manage and provide competition relevant

information by defining and documenting the information related to competitions
such as competition period, location and schedule etc. and the operational rules &
regulations for the sports at the 18th Asian Games..
The contents of this document are subject to change according to the requirements
and rules & regulations of International Federation (IF). The updated versions of the
document will be submitted to the Sports Department for approval before official
distribution.
The final version of this document will be distributed on the pre-agreed date and
therefore must be officially signed prior to this date. After the distribution of the final
version, apart from the updates made according to the approved competition rules &
regulations by the IF, the document should not be changed or modified.

4.1 Eligibility

Only OCA member NOCs are entitled to send athletes to participate in the
Kurash competition of the 18th Asian Games.

Only athletes who comply with the OCA Constitution and Rules and its Bye-law
are entitled to participate in the Kurash competition.

4.2 Entry Policies

Singles Events: for example: Each NOC may enter two (2) players in each event.

Mixed Double/Double Events: for example: Each NOC may enter only two (2)
pairs [four (4) players] in each event.

Team Events: for example: Each NOC may enter one (1) men's team and one(1)
women's team, consisting of 4 10 players

Total: for example: Each NOC may enter a maximum of ten (10) men and ten
(10) women players.

5. Competition Rules

5.1 Competition Rules

The Kurash competition of the 18th Asian Games will be held in accordance with the
Rules and Regulations of the International Kurash Association (IKA), the OCA
Constitution and Rules, in force during the Games time and other relevant
regulations and rules.

In case of any disagreement in the language interpretation of the rules and

regulations, the English version shall prevail. Any unforeseen cases not covered by
the regulations and rules shall be resolved as follows:

General issues: Resolved in accordance with the OCA Constitution and Rules.

Technical issues: Resolved in accordance with the International Kurash

Association (IKA). Add the specific text for each sport.

5.2 Competition Format

The information and number of sections must be adapted for each sport discipline
since the types of sports are very different from each other.

5.2.1 Team Events

5.3 Equipment and Clothing

Equipment used and clothing worn by athletes and other relevant participants in

competition must comply with the rules and regulations of the OCA and the IF (IKA)
and AF (KCA - when applicable).

5.4 Victory Ceremony

Gold, Silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the athletes ranked the top three
of each event respectively. Adapt text for each sport.
Fifteen minutes before the Victory Ceremony starts, the medalists shall be escorted
to the Waiting Area to get ready for the ceremony. Medalists must wear their NOC
official uniforms.

6. Technical Officials

6.1 Technical Delegate

6.2 Formation and Roles of Referees

The following text is an example. This must be adapted to each sport.

Technical Officials of each court consist of referee, umpire, and line judge.

In qualifying heats, 1 referee, 1 umpire, and 6 line judges operate the

competitions.

In semi-finals and final, 1 referee, 1 umpire, and 10 line judges operate the
competitions.

Those who are a member of local (countrys) Kurash association and received
a fixed training can be line judges.

6.3 Jury of Appeal

The following text is an example. This must be adapted to each sport.

Twenty-nine (29) International Technical Officials and a maximum of ten (10)

International Line Judges will be appointed by IF (or AF)..
The Jury of Appeal shall be appointed by Kurash Association (xxx) and approved
by IF or AF.

6.4 Protests and Appeals

All protests shall be made in writing according with the rules of IF (IKA) no later than
add time after the completion of the match.

7. Competition Procedures

Complete information for each sport describing all the relevant information that must
be considered by the VRS and T&S providers from the start of the competition,
including all the rules applied to the progression of the competition.

This section will detail the scoring rules, statistics (when applicable), overtime period
rules (when applicable), scoring abbreviations, etc.

This section must reflect the information related to records (when applicable). Three
records are considered: World record, Asian record and Games record.

8. FOP Layout
The validation of the FoP layout by the TD is a must. The objective is to avoid last
minute changes in the FoP that may somehow impact in the smooth start of the
competition.
