ANNEXURE-III

Emoluments & Benefits


(For Executive Trainee during training period and after absorption)

1. During training period your basic pay shall be fixed at ` 24900/- in the pay scale of ` 24900 - 3% -
50500/-. Besides this, you will be entitled to Dearness Allowance (variable), Transport Allowance,
Canteen Allowance/ Meal Vouchers, Washing Reimbursement, House Rent Allowance (if free hostel
accommodation is not provided), Group Insurance, Leaves and Free Medicare for self etc. as per
Company's Rules in force from time to time. The indicative emoluments and benefits at current rates
during training period are given under :

2. You will not be covered under the Company's Provident Fund and Gratuity during training period.
3. On successful completion of training, you will be placed in the pay scale of ` 24900 - 3% - 50500/- at a
basic pay of ` 25650/- in the Company's regular executive cadre. In addition to basic pay, you will be
entitled to Dearness Allowance (variable), House Rent Allowance or subsidized Housing or leased
accommodation, as the case may be.
4. On regularization as Engineer/ Officer, you will also be entitled for other perks and allowances limited to
47% of your basic pay to be decided by you on the basis of Cafeteria approach. You will have freedom
to choose from a given set of perks and allowances of your choice, as applicable to you at the time of
regularization, from the list of the items shown in the table below subject to the condition that the sum
total of these perks and allowances shall not exceed 47% of your basic pay. The option will have to be
exercised by the end of the month following the month in which you are regularized.

5. On regularization, benefits like HBA facility, conveyance advance facility, interest free multipurpose
advance, loan for purchase of furniture/ household items, leave encashment, Gratuity, Medicare for self
and dependant family members, Group Insurance, Contributory Provident Fund and Contributory
pension scheme etc. shall also be applicable to you as per Company's rules in force from time to time.
Holidays and leaves per year on regularization will be the same as indicated during training period,
however in lieu of Sick Leave, you will be entitled to 20 days Half Pay Leave. Further, if you are posted at
Project/ Station, you shall be allowed 10 days special additional leaves per annum over and above the
leaves applicable to you. These special additional leaves shall be encashable.
