an email message that Seano, President of the employees Union is planning
to commit Arson by burning the warehouse where important equipment and
supplies were stored. Seano filed a defamation case against Faye. Do you
think Faye is guilty of defamation? Why or Why not?

Answer: Faye is not guilty of defamation nevertheless Faye is or might be

libelous acts on accusing fellow worker Seano on arson with presenting valid
evidence of arsons threat.

Mr. Pang Ulo is the President of San Isidro Heights, Homeowners

Association. Since most of the homeowners on that subdivision are
multimillionaires Mr. Pang Ulo and the homeowners maintained a Facebook
(FB) group wherein all the homeowners are members. One day, Pang Ulo
post in his status message on the said FB group all the names delinquent
homeowners, that is, those members who failed to pay their monthly dues.
Having them demoralized, the affected parties filed a Cyber libel case
against Mr. Pang Ulo. Do you think the case will Prosper?

Answer: The case will not prosper because, If Pang Ulo is just posting a
relatively honest information on homeowners rights, previledges, and
responsibilities! But if the information given on FB group is false and does
not tell the truth but just a kind of ignorance, the Pang Ulo would be liable to
Defamation not Libel.

Atty. Tabako wrote Hari ng kapalpakan, hari ng kaplastikan in his

Twitter update, alluding to a well-known plastic surgeon Cikie Cello. His
Twitter account is protected, and therefore only people that he approved
to follow him are allowed access to his message updates. Said well-
known surgeon got wind of Atty. Tabakos message, through his friend
who was following Atty. Tabakos Twitter account. Will Atty. Tabako be
liable under Philippine cyber libel laws? Why or why not?

Answer: No because, In the first place, no one was being accused of crimes,
Just because of the word "Plastic" or hari ng kaplastikan. In fact, Cikie
Cello was not accused as plastic. Only being alluded in the premise of
Tabako.

audiences was videotaping her using mobile phone. Alicia requested Manny
Yak to delete the video from her mobile phone. Manny denied her request.
Alicia filed a criminal complaint against Manny Yak for violation of RA
9995. Do you think the case against Manny Yak will prosper? Justify your
answer.

Answer: In the case of Manny Yak will prosper because, without the
permission of Alicia Alegre, Manny Yak will be punishable by law
according to R.A 9995. An act defining and penalizing the crime of photo
and video voyeurism.
