1 SUMMARY Bidding Law 8666 dated 21/06/93 is the equal conditions to all partici

pants and the choice of the most advantageous proposal to the Administration. Es

xceeds 25 times the limit established in paragraph "c" of Part I of Art. 23 of t
his Law (for works and engineering services, competition: over $ 1.5 million. VI
- Guarantee Insurance - insurance that assures the faithful fulfillment of obli
gations undertaken by companies in bids and contracts; VII - Direct execution -
which is done by agencies and entities of the Administration, by its own means;
VIII - Indirect - which the agency or entity contracts with third parties under
any of the following procedures: a) Lump sum contract - when you hire the execut
ion of work or service for the right price and total, b) a unit price contract -
when it hires the execution of the work or service for the right price for cert
ain units;

of services to be performed and materials and equipment to incorporate the work
and its specifications to ensure the best results for the enterprise, without f
rustrating the competitive nature for its implementation. d) information that al
lows the deduction of study and construction methods,€temporary facilities and
organizational conditions for the work, not to frustrate the competitive nature
of its implementation. e) allowances for assembly of the bidding and management
plan of the work, including their programming, procurement strategy, inspection
standards and other data required in each case. f) detailed budget of the overal
l cost of the work, based on quantity of services and supplies properly evaluate

plementation of the work in accordance with the relevant rules of the Brazilian
